Hmm, Perez is part of Ferrari young drivers program and getting a meassage to keep his position when he was in striking distance... Smells like a team order..

I don't think you need to almost beach the car in the sand when you hear that, just lifting a tiny bit is enough, and actually makes clearer that you backed down because you were ordered to, not because you made a mistake, which makes you look bad as a driver.

I don't believe it was a team order. Sauber knew they needed those points and they knew that they could get first. but they did not want to risk losing all that effort. Its the second race and there will be a lot more opportunities throughout the year for them to go for it again. They would have learnt a lot and their confidence will be immense going into China. A place where it rains.... a lot!

What a load of rubbish,
if you can win a race, surely your going to try for the victory. + Perez was so much faster!
you wouldn't just settle for 2nd place.

Way to fishy

It was not a team order between Sauber and Ferrari.

It was Sauber's best result since 2008 and the last thing they need is for them to lose it by pushing too hard for the win. Perez was still trying his hardest (and he pushed too hard).

PS: Narain Karthikeyan should have his super license removed. He has no understanding of other drivers.

Is it your team? Your money? They said be cautious. Not to not overtake!! Im not saying that they didn't want him to not overtake. Im saying they were asking him to be cautious, and he made a mistake. It was not a team order.

i've had a hunch for years that sauber submit to ferrari... it was evident a decade ago, where they would always yield to them. you rarely see a ferrari behind a sauber ever in a race.

I think Perez and the Sauber team won over a whole lot of fans today.

And I doubt that message was team orders. Think about it. You've got an underfunded mid-pack privateer team driver up in 2nd place. You don't want to risk doing something stupid and blow the entire race losing valuable points.

But it was Narain's fault in either incidents though, Button got too greedy and Hamilton cut across while the movie wasn't fully completed.

The Button incident was Button's fault.

But the Vettel incident was completely Narain's fault. Narain turned to get onto the racing line before Vettel was ahead.

Not to mention that Narain didn't let drivers passed quick enough.

I agree but it wont happen. The guy is a just plain scary for drivers to lap. Though I cant say his incidents in this race were his fault, he has been consistantly poor in this regard over his entire career and something needs to be done about it. Penalties or something.

Seriously, you guys are looking into this to deeply  You don't make a mistake like that to slow down. You back off to slow down not go off track lol.
Which would be obvious on the telemetery if the FIA suspected as much TJ, don't be so naive. "Alonso is quicker than you" That's another example for you from last year. The sport is still corrupt and very political.

Oh that will be two weeks of conspiracy again.

Perez and Sauber did a great job this race and made a wise decision to consolidate for the points. That mistake Perez made could have ended up in the gravel, no driver with team orders will make such a mistake in 2nd position.

Its also good for Ferrari to have their customer engines in P2 and not in the gravel.
