The original reason for the fixed position was the fact that we had worked on glow in the dark numberplates so we could see the class colour and number at night, they looked really good :) you could ask them to re-think the positioning rules as the glowing plates are not being used.
 
For a one off event it really is unnecessary to have driver suits, helmets and custom wheels, especially when half the race is in the dark...You might see them as being small but look at it like this.

52 teams all running helmets, wheels and suits, 52x3MB = An extra 150+ MB of memory needed for "bling" when rF only utilises around 2GB of memory...

Still want your tacky wheels :D?
 
No driver suits, ok. No helmets, also ok. But no colored rims really ruin the overall look of some cars. At least black (or dark/bright) rims (1x BBS, 1xOZ) would´ve helped a lot. Rims are essential for a solid livery, every painter knows what i´m talking about. ;)
