We'll have a full review after the first round.
If the interest is low or people treat it like a joke, then we'll look at deleting it.

We can't organise an event with double booked servers expecting only half to turn up.

I have by now had a bit more sleep and watched the replay of race1 which was not bad at all. Still: nothing like a full server.
How about opening up a "sign up thread" for the two servers i would propose: server 5 open for groups 5 and 6, server 6 open for groups 7 and 8.
People would use the sign up format from the FD series with just a little change: add a current number, i.e. which spot do you take on the server. guy who turns up 26th is out of luck. no admin work needed at all, plus two servers free for other rd purposes

Here is a late report from me..
Overall it's a very exciting and fair race which i really enjoyed. Missed out on pole by .006 sec but starting on 2nd position is not bad. However I got the 1st gear ratio wrong (didn't realize until after the race) so off the line I already lose 2 spots. Able to gain it back 1 for 3rd place and pace was ok until the tyre wears out. Then the track feels like skating ring and pace drops quickly. Drop to 4th before the end of Race 1. Then I try to adjust the setting a bit to preseve the tyre more for Race 2. The adjustment saved the tyre a bit but I lost the critical balance of the car. Was in the mid field until the accident with Sergio (yes that's when he kept saying sorry for like a million times.. hahah) Come back near the back of the field but it's still a fun race. Really enjoyed it.

Unfortunately no, there is no live streaming for the League races, but the video coverage from the races done afterwards is ubercool!

Yep, this is a better idea Eckhart. :smurf:
I had originally thought about opening a sign up, but was concerned about the short amount of time from finalising the Groups 1 to 4 to opening and managing a sign up for Sunday's.
Given the reduced number of interested competitors, and I suspect numbers will drop overall as the season progresses, your suggestion becomes a better approach.

We'll consider it when reviewing the whole Round 1 episode. :angel:
