Will Greger break into the 1:38-s or will it be a "simple" 1:39 from him....? :) :) :)

p.s.: my time is a modest 1:40.6 so far.... i very much hope it is enough for group 1, because not too much left inside, theoretical perfect lap is 1:40.4 for me atm

There is a lot to do on my side... 1:41.1 for now... but thats not my PB... so donno whats going on but :D we have a lot of day left :)

Wonder what the fast guys will do and how close it is going to be :)

i would be disapointed to see the whole thing go. If i'd have known this non-qualifier event was going to happen then I'd have taken time to try and set a lap even though my set up was failing me greatly. Not sure how i missed this was gonna happen... must be getting old.

Possible to have 2 or 3 timezones for the non qualifiers? early(Asia), mid(euro), late(US) and you sign up for the one that suits you best?

i like the idea of sign up - how about a poll here to get peoples interest?

hey, i'll even look to run an unofficial non-q league and dish out points if you want?!?! WTCC jr here we come!

Better late than never, some words about my races. :)

Starting with qualifying, I was naturally happy with the laptime I did and a bit surprised about the big gap. I was able to do a couple of other fast laps too in addition to the pole lap so it was looking good for race 1.

I got a good start and a clean first lap and that pretty much decided the race for me. From there I just had to keep it on the road... I did that and kept up a good pace. Nothing exciting happened during those 10 laps so on to race 2. :D

This time the engine bogged down in the start so I didn't get a good launch off the line. Took it easy in turn one and it was my plan to take it pretty easy during the race, hopefully picking up positions when there was a good chance.

Going into turn 9, the cars slowing down in front of me caught me off by surprise. I thought I had braked early enough considering the traffic, but that wasn't the case. The back of Attila's car was approaching too quickly so I got off the brakes slightly and turned to the right (a move to the left would have been a bit too risky since I had to get off the brakes!) to try and avoid him. During the race I thought I had missed him but seems like there was a slight contact to the RR corner of this car, so I'm sorry about that Attila!

I dropped to P15 I think and was a bit mad about that. ;) After that I just tried to get into the points and it wasn't easy because sometimes it seemed there were cars everywhere around you. There were some small contacts but nothing big, it was just hard to find the rhythm and the correct lines and I was sliding around quite a lot.

I was able to steadily move up the field and I made some moves under braking once I noticed that I was able to brake later than most people into some corners. With a couple of laps to go I noticed I still had a change to get second as the guys in front were battling for that position.

Starting the last lap I moved to P3 after Kevin had a small off track excursion out of the last turn and later that lap I outbraked Peter into turn 7. So 2nd after the mistake on lap 1 was a great result, without the time lost I could have maybe fought for the win. I'm happy with 1st and 2nd from the first event though. :drunk:

A great result for the team as well in the first race with the 1-2, too bad Dom was hit with a lag problem or something in the second one. Congrats to Scott for winning the second race.

As i wrote in my report earlier, do not worry about it m8, things like this happens, clearly nothing intentional, even you got off the track trying to avoid me, already at the moment you hit me i knew why it happened, so did not even felt emotional about it not for a milisecond, just went back to the race to enjoy it. :)

Maybe you can practise going slower laptimes, one thing could be to forget how to brake that late, this would help the chance of other drivers around you to keep up with the pace you show! :) :) :)

Same for me.
1.40.9 PB but can not get much higher, perfect lap for me would be a 1.40.5.
Also hope it is enough for group 1
And I think greger will drive a low 1.39

Is there an exception from cutting corners rules, applied to last corner in Valencia :) ?

I have never really practiced much at Valencia so will need to hit the server as soon as its up. I hope for a low-to-mid 1:43 at the least maybe with a bit of luck a few consitent 1:42's

must remain standing after you passed by NEXT to them... :drunk: well, almost in every case... lol uphill chicane exit cones can be flying i guess, since if you are 2 wheels on the track you hit them still.

what about the tight left hander about half way around - between turn 8 and 9. I usually run wide there sometimes but if anything you lose a bit of time by going wide over the cones.
