GT Pro League formation and signup

I've been working on the formation of a GTR Evo GT Pro league to be held here at the RD in the evening/night time for the eastern time zone. Please use this thread to express your interest in signing up for this type of league. I have been working on/discussing a GT Pro league with Eric Kaczmarek for several weeks now and consequently we are driving the pro class on tuesday night club races and it seems like there is some interest there. We had a decent turnout last night and I know there is some interest in creating a league from several guys in the pro class as we have some of the guys that used to race in the JCRacing.net pro league and the NAGP pro league that are interested in joining. Again, the league would be during the 9:30 to 11 eastern standard time frame. If you would like to be involved in this league, let me know as I'm trying to guage interest and get an idea of the number of drivers that we'd be dealing with.

Initial thoughts are this: we would have a short league (6 races) to get up and running and then use that to springboard into a full 12 week season beginning 3 weeks after that first mini league. Points and team points will be kept for both leagues, well maybe not teams points for the first mini league.

AGAIN, If you're interested in this league, post here and I'll be in touch. The league won't form until there's sufficient interest.

Hey Sean there is a Mini RD league forming. That might suit you better.

I saw that. There's something about the Mini's that I just can't get into, also. Lol

I was looking forward to the RDTCC but the timing is all wrong for my work schedule and it seems they're only running one car model. I'm fine with club races and NPC leagues for now :)

Actually 2 cars. Volvo on one day and Honda on the other (Saturdays and Sundays)

Bob,

No, we'll just be running the Pros. WE'd need a huge field to run all the gt classes. I figure if we can get 20 plus for a gt pro league then we'd be doing good.

One way to do it would be a series of 9 races rotating through the classes(3 races each class), you can then have overall points race and class points races within the same championship.

Taking a mandatory pitstop

As some of you might have noticed, i've not been around much lately.
This has several causes but the biggest is that i am unable to race at the moment due to some problems i am having with my wrists.
It seems i have an infection in the tendons that lead to my thumbs (on both hands).
The cause of this is not sure but racing didn't improve it...
So my doctor ordered 6 - 8 weeks of rest, and definitely no racing.
I might do the occasional sprint race, if i am feeling ok.
Sadly this also means that the AF3kGPC league is a definite no-go at the moment. It breaks my heart to not be able to run in the league i helped bring to life; but hey what can i do?
Offcourse i will keep browsing the forums and help where i can.

Luckily there is a plus side to it; i have plenty of time now for my airbrush practice and (provided i am feeling ok) to do some new skin jobs.
Also i've been slacking on the 3D modeling thingie, and that's definitely something i want to look into (again that depends on my hands really).
I wish you well in the coming races, and i'll see you when i get back.
