Actually I leave the wheel where it is, and only use the 22' for my racing and the 19' for my RTT. I might actually try moving the wheel over for the next event.

I am in the 3 week waiting period. The clock evidently doesn't start when you join(12/13/08) but from the date of your first post. I thought you had to wait 3 weeks before you could post. I would have started posting earlier if I knew that. It's all cool as the rules are there to maintain the integrity of the community. I think the first event I can participate in is on 1/25.

i cant drive when my weel doesn't line up with the screen. I end up oversteering one way ad under steering the other (input wise). feels much more natural to be in the middle imo.

Found out what I'm going to be doing all day at work though! Watching races!

Slightly off-topic, but I never have done any skinning before. How long does it take to complete a skin on average?

1 - 2 days, sometimes more. The most I've done is two in one day. Sean's bimmer and the first F3000 car. If your not too picky, can be done in several hours.

It really depends on how comfortable you are with Photoshop, how comfortable you are visualizing a 3D object projected on a 2D canvas, and how fancy you want to get. A couple of hours for relative simple ones, probably days for more complex ones to evolve.

Well, usually it takes me about 5-6 hours.
However, the two real life cars i posted took way longer, the DBR9 holds the record with 5 weeks (doing work on it for at least 2 hours a day).
It just depends on how detailed you want to work.
