United States & Canada

The practice server for next Sunday's event is running.
servername=GT-Pro @ Mid-America
password=sunday

This should be a fun one!! I cant wait!! :laugh2::laugh2:

I am in the 3 week waiting period. The clock evidently doesn't start when you join(12/13/08) but from the date of your first post. I thought you had to wait 3 weeks before you could post. I would have started posting earlier if I knew that. It's all cool as the rules are there to maintain the integrity of the community. I think the first event I can participate in is on 1/25.

Look forward to racing with you Bob.

Awesome vids! I watched the Caterham ones just to see my wicked awesome standing starts :D I can pick myself out in both vids!

Found out what I'm going to be doing all day at work though! Watching races!
One of these days we need to get someone to commentate on the races. GT maybe? :D

Thanks for the vids, guys!

Slightly off-topic, but I never have done any skinning before. How long does it take to complete a skin on average?

It really depends on how comfortable you are with Photoshop, how comfortable you are visualizing a 3D object projected on a 2D canvas, and how fancy you want to get. A couple of hours for relative simple ones, probably days for more complex ones to evolve.

Well, usually it takes me about 5-6 hours.
However, the two real life cars i posted took way longer, the DBR9 holds the record with 5 weeks (doing work on it for at least 2 hours a day).
It just depends on how detailed you want to work.
