Where did you guys learn to make skins? Are there tutorials out there?

Nice work all. I especially like the BMW made for Sean.

I think 70% is the best setting, track is wet offcourse but not flooded.
I was able to get around rather nicely (tested 4 different car classes).
Mind though; it will be a tough race...

Here I am with my son last summer.

I don't think I ever introduced myself in the introduction thread because it was closed... so here it is:

29 years old. In Montreal, Canada. French is my first language, so forgive the typos! I am a mechanical engineer for a major engineering firm, working in mines and heavy industry.

I am new to simracing since about 8 months. I have been flight simming for many years, and finally I wanted a change because I didn't have enough time to fly as much as I wanted... I thought driving would take less time, but here I am spending more time than I was flying!:laugh2: I wish I had more time to race, but with a baby and full time job, there isn't!

Glad to be racing with you guys.:good:

Ian

I would like to give a big thanks to Marcel!!!:good:

In the past few days he went out of his way to help everyone in the NA community on the practice servers (Misano and Mid America!!!)

Thank you Marcel for everything!! I am really excited how our little community is shaping up with everyone's help!!

-Eric

I second the thanks! You have been incredibly helpful in answering questions I had in several threads and providing constructive feedback on my driving. Also as the only person to have seen me drive(yet) demonstrating honorable discretion by keeping it to himself :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:

Bob,

Why don't you get your trial membership? Most of the US events are trial, so you could be racing with us right now!

I am in the 3 week waiting period. The clock evidently doesn't start when you join(12/13/08) but from the date of your first post. I thought you had to wait 3 weeks before you could post. I would have started posting earlier if I knew that. It's all cool as the rules are there to maintain the integrity of the community. I think the first event I can participate in is on 1/25.
