So... to kill some time i decided to make a Top 30 board for all RD members.
To get your time official you need to make a post and post a screenshot/video of the time.

Same here, I'm not looking forward to multiplayer at all; I may not even buy AC :(.

This game is just too competitive if it doesn't have amateur drive modes or something like that. I'm very new to sim racing and thought buying a steering wheel (G27) would help me improve; but my lap times are consistent 1:28.

Compared to everyone else I'm crap and I won't find enjoyment coming last in every race that's for sure.
Isn´t the point of racing...racing?
As long as there´s someone with equal pace to yourself it should not really matter if you are last or first.

I think it would be worse if you were so dominant you never actually raced anyone.
I´ve been in a few races where i happened to be the fastest guy and it´s boring as hell, all you do is manage a gap and wait for the race to be over.
It´s much more fun being in the middle of the pack with a train of cars fighting hard but fair.

I´m positive there will be enough competitors for all speeds.
And i would not worry about being lapped, i know i have been lapped a few times.
Once when i was 2nd :)

Hey Majnu,

I can understand your frustration, when you see how much faster the fast guys are. But guess what, we all started down there in the beginning. Very few guys who just buy a wheel are fast straightaway. I have been driving sims actively since the early 2000's for instance.

The good thing about friendly communities, like the AC community seems to be, is that they are willing to help out. iRacing had a really cool group going on for their Lotus 79 car. Guys would organise training sessions every week for the slower guys. They would upload a movie on youtube with advice for the upcoming track. The faster guys would take the slower guys around and help them with tips and coaching.

In the end that is the cool thing, it's about improving yourself :). And surely, if AC will get big enough, there will always be someone to race against!

Now.. if you would upload a reply of your 1.28 lap, I'm sure more than enough guys are willing to give you some pointers on where to improve :).

New PB set for today...more pressure is good for the first lap but one has to nail it at this lap.

I changed my wheelsettings(T500rs:55/100/100/100/0..Gain:65) to my rF2 standards and it feels as strong as in rF2
