Technology Preview - Time Attack - Top 30 Leaderboard

So... to kill some time i decided to make a Top 30 board for all RD members.
To get your time official you need to make a post and post a screenshot/video of the time.

edit: nevermind, people will never learn.

Another question here. Are you guys braking & throttle at the same time when cornering ?? The so call heel & toe ?? Or brake without throttle when enter corner and throttle only after apex ??
Many thanks.

Hi guys.
I want to post a laptime, but don't know how to take a screenshot.
Could anybody help me ?

Thanks in advance,
Simon
Look for the print screen button, should be in that area on your keyboard.
Then open Paint if you don´t have Photoshop or Gimp and select new, then hit CTRL+V
Save image, upload to http://postimage.org/
Copy the "direct-link"
then go here to message window and click on the small picture symbol, paste link and you are good to go.

Aristotelis from AC answerd my question why we get our best times in the first three laps and why we can not hold the pace after that.:

" In the first 3 laps you tear off the "new" surface of the tyres and do the first heat cycle. It's the perfect situation. Depending on how you drive in the out laps the perfect moment will be at the 1st, 2nd or 3rd timed lap... but it is around there.

After that, the wear make laptimes slightly slower, without though affecting drivability."

I've also noticed how much more resistance the FFB has in the opening few laps which improves the feel, after say 5-6 laps the wheel has a limper feel to it making it harder to feel the tyres.

heel toe is used to blip the throttle while (down)shifting...

I think what you mean is leftfoot braking...

it depends much on the corner and alot on the car (and ofcourse like everytime how you drive/ like to drive)... with the elise at magione I didn't find a proper corner to leftfoot brake..

even trail braking (turning the car while / with braking) ... doesn't work for me with the elise... braking into a turn yes.. but turning through braking doesn't work for me good in the elise.. getting often more understeer then just rolling...

heel toe is a must when using h-shifter without autoclutch

btw. to watch a rally video with pedal/foot cam is very interesting and impressive... because they are realy dancing on the pedals.. they are constantly changing all the methods very fast...

Guys I know this leaderboard is a bit of fun and lighthearted, not a serious competition. So may I ask why all the flat shifting? flat shifting gives a better time, but when I drive the car, I drive it like I would the real thing, 900 degrees, pro mode with ABS on, lifting off throttle to press clutch in to change gear, heel and toe technique on downshifts etc...

I still haven't put down a perfect lap yet with my limited amount of time I get with AC, but even if I do eventually put down a perfect lap, a realistic time using realistic driving will be (my guess) around the 1:23.5 give or take. I do see videos of some fantastic driving and really fast laps, but using flat shifting to get a better time.

Again please don't think I am "moaning or complaining" or anything, just that it seems people really want to get a very good time but use some rather eyebrow raising techniques? Surely we're not taking this leaderboard as like a serious competition?
