Team ORSM

Check your .tgm files to see what the tyre compounds are named within the .tgm file. Rfactor has specific names that must be used for compounds to allow tyre sidewalls to change. For Hard V8 tyres (from memory) it should be "Intermediate Compound". For soft tyres it should be "Soft Compound" (this is within the TGM files only. There is also a custom .DIC file which will search for text terms defined in the DIC file and then display the alternate text entries which are setup in the DIC file like "Control Tyre", "Sprint Tyre" etc)

Yeah sorry. TBC are the files (been working with RF2 too long recently :) ). DIC files will be under support/languages from memory but they are not really important .... just a way to translate what RF1 needs for tyre file names to a label that makes sense to the V8s. If the TBC files have the correct compound names then I would suggest reinstalling the ORSM files to see if that helps. Also check that the tyre compounds are not locked to a particular track by the Trackconfig file

1. Will there be anymore skins? None of the series have more than 10 cars.
2. Can these skins have custom vehicle filter(s)? With the usual filters there can be to 87 cars!
3. Some skins are not showing up.

There are still more skins coming. A release shouldn't be too far away. I'll add extra filters to them so you can pick which seasons you want to run. They still won't be full seasons though. I'm planning to turn this into a standalone mod with it's own rfm file etc. so I might do that at the same time. As for skins not showing up, can you let me know which ones?

Hi not meaning to be pushy or instructive but are you guys able to provide an update on the progress of this pack?
Thanks,
Paul

We were trying to get more progress done but other inteferance, school,/study/work commiitments and needing more photos and if possible liveries has sort of set us back a bit. The plan is to get it done, don't have a definant date though, as my old computer corrupted all the files I had done, about 5 or 7 cars. Up to that point we had 11/12 cars complete and ready

Okay thanks for the update mate

Matchmaker isn't working, and I read from a highly reliable source that its now single player made by developers (I assume).

If so, this is poor form from dev's. They (ISI) can be the only ones to shut it down, is rfactor 2 going so poorly that they need to close off rfactor one, that's how I see it anyway. So this brings me to my question, is the rfactor saga finally over, it had been battling but I didn't think this bad, I see more play 1 over 2, did they shut 1 off to benefit 2, and if so, how does this help anyone, a lot of people may not want to move over just yet. I don't know about others, but for me, rfactor 2 feels incomplete and fake to real cars. Personally, I wont be moving across to rfactor 2, I feel like the money we pay, the game doesn't stand up to. My opinion, terribly, the saga is dying, but how long left
