New CSP preview is out!

Works amazingly, the new rain fx blew my mind. fantastic job mate.
I have a question though. When creating custom championships I always set the weather as "random" but this since the update this results in consistently "clear" weather being selected.
I can of course go to Sol Weather app and manually select "random dry" or "random wet" but this kind of defeats the purpose of having random weather in the first place.
How do I get a random selection of dry and wet weather for custom championships?

BTW, I'm not the creator of CSP and rain.

Actually it depends which weather controller you set. It's moved to Drive menu now. Open the weather selection, there is a submenu "controller". Try to select "default" there.

i've runned into a problem.

received from ilja email with link for new update of CM. downloaded and done. weather script drop down menu completely gone from weather fx...
after so many tries and combinations of installing and uninstalling stuff i could not find solution.
weather contolling app doesn't work. please see pics.

any help would be really appreciated. thx in advance.

Weather script is now called "weather style". You set the weather controller now in Drive menu in the weather drop down. There is a submenu "controllers".

many thanks for such a fast answer peter. im sorry for maybe being dumb...
i changed under 'Drive' tab weather controler to Sol and then to Sol2.4. neither of these choices gave me weather control app back in the game peter.
is it because weather control app is not operational anymore or im doing any mistake.

Actually it should work for offline session (no replay, no online).

Could you open the CSP Python debug app ingame and switch to the "log" tab? And make a screenshot...

i am so sorry peter. i am on it for about one hour and i just could not find python debug at all. even with googling and swiping through all apps installed. short of knowledge here.

ah god i think im an idiot... stopped searching in forums and did read again manual. so i hope this is what you asked me to do peter...

ups... on the attched picturre you can see my developer aps menu is pretty much different...

so, peter...
digging in i double checked my DEV apps are enabled in ac ini. then i found somewhere on web that there is another ini file in SDK folder. in that file dev apps were off (=0). so i changed the value and voila... i still dont have python apps debug (as well as the others) available, BUT (!!) sol planner started working!
i hope this might be any useful info for you and other brothers in arms.

at the end i wanted to say many thanks for SOL and Pure peter, take care.

im an absolute NOOB but it seems to me like it doesn't work when dev apps are not active...

As you can see, the weather controller available to select is Sol 2.4, weather style is Pure.

But in game, this error pops up when trying to run the weather planner app.
