Show us your Rig / Cockpit

Quite pleased with how it all came out. Not including the gear I already had, I'd say I probably put about $200 and around 6 hours into the upgrade which I think isn't too bad considering the rather drastic improvement it turned out to be. Here's what it looks like in action.

Looks fantastic. Great job.

Thanks. I recently added a GT Omega Pro cockpit and love it. :D

Finally finished my racing/flight sim cockpit, sure helps having a solid rig with everything in the proper position for my height and preferences. I can easily switch between racing and flight controls.
Primarily faux leather wrapped MDF. SimVibe transducers under seat and pedals.

Love it! I really like the flat panel around your wheel with the tablets mounted, I'd like to do something like that with mine at some point.

Great idea using the Treadmill William
Ahh, you noticed, good eye :). Yeah, sitting around one day considering building a rig then it dawned on me when passing by our old treadmill - maybe a strong foundation (chassis!) to start with. It worked out great, though the whole thing weighs a ton - but very sturdy! I can move freely it around in my man cave after putting carpet pads underneath but not about to relocate anywhere else (unless disassembling). Fun but time-consuming project

Thanks, works good, wanted something that looked somewhat like a dash, and as you say a good spot for my tablets - DashMeterPro and Power-Grid (electronic button box). Rig built to conceal wires, etc. as much as possible, helps with my excessive neatness disorder :O_o:

Yep, that's exactly why I'd like to do it because it gives the look of an actual dashboard and let the monitors act as your windscreen. That's what I'm going for with my rig but still need to figure out best way to accomplish it with what I have, not a bad start though.

Desktop cockpit. Still my good old Logitech MOMO Racing with original pedals and Android DashPanel. Enough for LFS...
Maybe one day I will have the hardware as you guys. :)

@RallyeBoy - yes it is a HE Sim Rig.... it's worth every penny/euro.... ultra strong/stable can't recommend it enough!! With it being 80/20 modding is simple too albeit can be expensive buying the 80/20.....

Be mindful of the seat as I had to buy mine which I hadn't planned which put an extra £500 cost on the build for me

I saved for a life long dream. I'm so glad I went with triple instead of vr. Now 3x3400x1400 = 10K rez @ 100fps. I never thought a game could look at crisp while being so fluid smooth. Simxperience is just the best!! Get your monitors close to your wheel with the right FOV for best immersion, it took me a while to figure all out.
