Show us your Rig / Cockpit

I'm still wondering if they can offer all the modular parts separate. For people who have proper custom rims they won't need all the modular stuff, only a mechanism to bolt onto. I still have a sparco wheel and a load of buttons lying around, but 250 EUR is a bit steep for the universal hub if you ask me..
It wouls be nice, but I dont think they will do it. At the end of the day they want to make money (rightfully so) and they would lower their sales. Currently you have to pay at least 450€ for the base and the cheapest rim the formula costs 180€ as the formula is around for quite a while they should make a good profit with selling it. If they position the HUB around that price point or offer a pure HUB below 180€ they wont make a lot of money, because the most complicated part is the HUB itself. The button boxes should be really cheap to produces, so they always sell it as a full package. Of course a cheaper HUB could lead to people only buying a base and the cheap HUB, on which they make less profit than their other rims.

I would like your idea as well, but from a financial POV I wouldnt do it if I were them and looking at their reported sales and profit. They could really do with more profit. Over the last few years they bearly had any profit.

So after having to sell my last pc, I've now managed to get to this stage I've now managed to get the TS500 pedals and F1 add on, what else should I get :)

Most recent Mod,

Thought i was going to go this route with the funnel's but decided differently

Ice Cream pail is where its at, lol

1 1/2" drain pipe

2 main Runs come up the side and feed 2 vents which cover my chest, One run on the floor of the pedal box which will cover my legs.

the 4th line goes right to the back side of the pedals to keep my Feet cool,

and here's the Bucket air box in its glory. I wanted to tuck it Under the pedal plate but the "suction" from the fan rendered the "leg" vent moot, Just sucked back all the air it was trying to blow.

OMG I feel sooo small with my little tiny wheel... bought at a thrift store...

perhaps some links to some of these premium wheels or at least the names of them...I am definitly looking to upgrade.

@Moxley6969
very nice work and great job
im looking it doing doing something similar my self.
what size is the piping 32mm ?
where do you pick up the Velcro straps ?

There's a picture of the piping, 1 1/2" Drainage pipe for Sump pumps and stuff.

Velcros straps came from cutting a Wider Roll of velcro i picked up from Home depot, simple flat Washer and a 1" Drywall screw and Pull it TIGHT around the hose.

Thanks Brian, Im starting to run out of thing's to do for my rig, After the already in the works Traction loss setup, Im kinda scratching my head as to what might be next....Any ideas ?

Maybe some nice led strip lighting to light the rig abit :)
I was thinking of the traction loss myself or a stage1 or 2 motion setup.
First upgrade my csw base and a new graphics card.
I have a momo mod.11 wheel on order.
I might try the v2 base but the new accu force wheel is very tempting but all my equipment is fanatec i dont want to sell all my rims .

I really like the above rig, but seeing that I happened to have a very used 1998 Volvo S70 gathering dust......... It is a serious work in progress. Trying to figure out how to install my 5.1 into the A/C vents for the front and into the headrests for the rear.

The new ClubSport Wheel Base V2 inspired me to make a V2 dashboard.

Like the previous dashboard it's mounted to the wheel base for quick and easy installation.

It's powered by 2 DSD32 boards, has 30 buttons, 7 illuminated toggle switches, 3 toggle switches and 5 rotary encoders.

For the front plate i used a real carbon fiber panel.
The dash is curved and i can add 2 displays and mount them on various locations.

I really love the porsche 918 RSR rim, but for me it needed a BMW logo. :D
