Sell me AMS2

A lot of issues have arised with this latest build.

As for the Reiza Indy car, it sounds like they are in talks with Indy car to obtain the official license.
No word yet if it will be a DLC package or a separate game.

If they got the official license, could that mean they would have the rights to all of the tracks they race on. Why would Indy not do it? Right now, and I hate to talk smack about Nascar, but they are having some issues an Murica needs some racing. Anything to put the Indy name out there sounds like a win win. I dont understand why racing teams dont insist on sim racing games to use real liveries and all Manufactures. This is the real insert point for the next generation of race fans. Surely they know that the up turn in GT racing is because of sim racing.

So, i just raced the super V8s at Daytona Tri Oval against the bots. Honest, 100 percent. I have not raced anything that I would say is even in the same league. Also, has anyone downloaded the Nascar skins for super V8 and if so can they be removed if they cause a problem?

There is an XML file with most livery downloads. it controls what mod skins are used. You just need to delete it or move it into the override folder of skins if you want to reuse them at a later time.

Are you saying AMS2 has the best AI :O_o:

Are you using a new beta release or the public branch?

Did any AI complete a pass on another AI?

I've done dozens of AI races on road circuits and haven't seen them complete a pass of another AI....that didn't involve one AI crashing.

Just wondering if the oval AI are any better cause I haven't tried them yet.

Reading the beta forms, it looks like they are gonna put some much needed work into the AI over the coming weeks as they felt they missed there mark on a few areas that were supposed to be in the last update..

Ex. Pit strategies, weather performance, ai on ai passing etc.

So, I really did just jump on for a little race. I had been having an issue with the game not looking right. I figured it was on my end because I had to reinstall Windows. I race VR only and for some reason in one setting it had switched the resolution from 90 Hz to let Windows choose. That was the problem, anyways raced a few practice runs at all oval tracks and remembered the one guy who is making all of the Nascar skins for super V8. Thought I will give them a go on Daytona, and it was so realistic. I get what you are saying with them passing each other and I didnt notice much of that. However, they raced hard but fair. If you exited right you might get a run on them, but if you slipped they were nipping at you the whole time trying to get the spot back. It just felt right. As for pits and trying to run a full race. I couldnt say. But, after a major pretend wreck that only left the last 11 cars on the track with 15 laps to go. Awesome.
