Why would you want to race a entire full grid of GT cars from around the 2004 Era with any other content or cars ? defeats the purpose of creating 90% of a pack of cars.

A test with multiple different cars might be more analogous than a one-make grid, I'd think. More unique models/textures would put more strain on the system, right?

what i meant is that probably kunos did the f1 2017 heaavier also because the f1 2017 in AC will is meant to race against other f1 2017 ferraris only, so no mor emodels. the GT3 cars instead are meant to be driven against other gt3 cars so probably they are less heavy on fps also because of that

Well with a grid of 6x Kunos official GT cars same track same camera, I am getting 9150DIP and 53FPS

with a complete MC12 grid of official kunos GT1 cars, I am getting 10270DIP and 53.7FPS

with a complete RSS GT Championship pack, I am getting 9900DIP and 52.6FPS,

but the pack is not completed the 57 car has only 2 LOD and the rest of the pack 4 LOD,
maybe why its marginally lower, but either way these results are really clear for me,
and the pack requires some adjustments in places, but currently it performs just the same as official GT cars and GT3 cars no doubt about it.

Don't worry @chargingcar . The GT1 Pack's quality is above Kunos' cars and has the same performance. What else could you ask for? :D
Maybe visually in places I would agree slightly, but having the experience over the last 20+ years,
CAD/CAM engineering ect ect,
and also creating 3D content, these cars are most likely all made using CAD data direct from the manufacturer, which gives an edge in my book overhaul my opinion is there roughly the same stuff no better no worse :)
CAD really helps in places with the finer details.

All kunos cars are all official licensed content, all made in collaboration with the manufacturers and most likely inspected to guarantee quality, it gets no better.

A better test would be to make a custom replay of a lap and then replace the benchmark file with the different replays. Then you will get full stats with minimum and max fps. The shots above aren't very useful as none of the cars are showing LOD A which is where the biggest hit will come from.

In either case I'm sure it's fine. Probably 90% of people out there are used to running ripped forza mods that don't even have LODs.

that was just showing a even reference but I know what you mean I was looking at these benchmarks last night and mentioned I can not find how they are loading,
so its a replay benchmark ? I was thinking it was live couldnt for the life of me find the settings :D

Take any replay and put it in the benchmark folder. Backup the original benchmark file and rename the custom replay to benchmark. Then just run the benchmark like normal and it will play that custom one.

Always a good day when you learn something new, as I was saying I always believed it was a live system the benchmark and never saw the settings :)

I will receive my brass encoder next tuesday. Cannot wait for the update. I'll try and do an fps benchmark with my slightly off center wheel :D

Sorry for double post in advance:

i5 4460, GTX 1060 6gb, 8gb ddr3 ram, 1080p single screen

Spa, 23 opponents made out of rss pack with default skins and mc12, time: 16:00, 19 degrees

Began 11th, finished 13th. 95 AI with +/- 5... My car: lister.

When lights turn from red to green, a single heavy dip from 70 fps to 25 fps, after that, it climbs back up to 60 fps in 3-4 seconds. After that, keeps going up to 90 fps, even when the screen is packed with cars, 58 fps minimum, 90 fps maximum.

Sorry but ac rejected my replay file for benchmark. So i had to do a long write up like this. Don't have a median fps statistic :(

oops, forgot one little thing: all settings except reflection is maxed out.
