A message to all Drivers

If you run off track, you must check to see that its clear before you re enter the track. Always try to re-enter the track parallel to the racing line. Stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car.

When joining the track from the pits, remain inside the white line and stay off the racing line until you are up to speed.

During qualification, do not race on your out lap, let other drivers by.

Golden Rule
  1. If you hit somebody, sending them off the track and carry on like nothing happened, you take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
  2. Instead, you should always wait for the affected drivers, and that way you can be 100% sure you will not get a ban.
Track limits
  1. No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a lift of the gas please.
You will be penalized if you break our rules
Note: Please use your full real name in Discord. Not doing so may result in you being kicked from the server if an admin cannot identify you as a premium

Just switched the Merc Brian, not sure if you need to add BOP for the race. Think I'm going to stick with this one. I'm finding the lambo a bit squirrely on the kerbs

Thanks Robert. Ye I fix them all at the weekend before the race anyway. Or earlier if you let me know, so you have correct BOP on the practice server.

When you join next can you let me know if you get a no BOP merc?

Just joined, no BOP on my merc. Odd because before when I was signed up with the Lambo and tried the merc it had the BOP

Cheers Robert. That's how it should work, unfortunately it's designed to BOP a driver rather than a car. Thanks for confirming!
So if you want to try out cars with their correct BOP don't change your original choice on ACSM until you are hoping off for the day/night.

I've updated your merc now

Confused with the above.

I am assuming that I get the BOP that is applicable to the car I drive on race day??

That should be the case ernie.

Question about the Merc, usually sidekicks revs and shift light match up with my wheel and car dash, but I'm finding with the gearing, 6th gear doesn't go red until 160mph or so in sidekick, while the wheel lights flash about 5-10mph earlier. With some rough testing it seems very slightly faster to react to sidekick, not the car. Anyone else seeing this?

During my practice at Monza with the Merc I noticed it was quicker staying in 5th gear for longer. I only shifted into 6th on the pit straight.

That's it Ernie. If you're switching cars on Emporer during the week you will hold the BOP of the first car you picked until I sort it. Best to give me a nudge if you want it fixed.
Probably easiest all round to just not register until you're half decided on a car at least.

Ye good question. It also gives a rattle noise right at the end of the rpm but I'm not sure it's loosing power. I was going right to the limiter at monza anyway. Usually the best bet in an NA car.

Having a (very carefull as I despise GT3 cars and don"t like Spa) look at this one.
Haven't found the Training Server yet.

BTW, does anybody know how to change brightness or contrast on the BMW's onboard dashboard?
It's only legiable for a 1/4 of the lap:(

Should be up on RaceDepartment server 3. Maybe toggle on missing content on and off? Sometimes that shows me server I couldn't see.

Not sure about brightness, but maybe this suggestion would be of some help? I know different PP filters can cause dash lights to be brighter or darker
