Sorry if this question's been asked before, but...

NOTE: After Round 4 at Estoril the GMT times of the event will change due to the ending of Daylight Saving Time in the northern hemisphere of the planet and the starting of DST in the southern hemisphere. The local time should then stay the same on the nothern hemisphere, while it changes two hours for the southern hemisphere.

Not sure if I completely understand this. Will the time move forward two hours, or backwards two hours? :question:

For those in the Netherlands the event will be one hour earlier, but I don't know what the time will be in Australia.

Yeah, Yoeri already explained that to me before... The GMT time is gonna change, it's gonna be 1 hour later. And for the countries that starts their daylight saving times in october, another hour is gonna be added. That mean, here in Brazil, for example, the last races are gonna be 2 hours later...

nope. The thing is the staff wants to preserve the start time in the countries that have daylight saving time now. When the DST ends in october, the GMT is gonna change to 1 hour later to preserve the start time in those countries. But the countris that start their DSTs in october are gonna have no only 1 hour added because of the GMT change, but 2 hours added because of the DST also...

BUT if Netherlands is not in DST now, it's gonna be 1 hour ealier indeed, if the DST doesnt start in october...

A bit confusing yes. But we could resume all of this in 3 situations:
1) countries that have DST now, but DST is gonna end in october;
2) countries that dont have DST now and are not gonna have DST in october;
3) countries that dont have DST now, but are gonna have DST in october;

In case 1, the start time is gonna be the same as now. In case 2, the start time is gonna be 1 hour earlier. And in case 3, the start time is gonna be 2 hours later. I think thats it. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It would be nice to put all that in the info thread, since that still confuses some people...

2 Vids from my run in Division 2. Both involving Johan.

First vid is from lap 16 where I made my only error of note running too deep into the chicane and losing my first place to Johan only for him to lose it coming out of T4 most likely distracted by my team mate Dave recovering from going off.

The 2nd is after the first stops where Johan has leap frogged me. I'm assuming he took only 2 tyres to my 4 as I'd not had an issue during the stop and I had about 6 seconds on him prior to it. With that thinking I thought I'd put a bit of pressure on him in case he was not running on all new rubber. Michel was quite close during most of the race in the BMW:good:.

My first thought is to put the event one hour earlier GMT time, which causes the event to be at the same time as usual for countries on the Nothern Hemisphere, however it also puts the event two hours later for the Southern Hemisphere (if they use DST) or one hour later (if they don't use DST).

However I have to review this with regards to the current driver list. Would there be lots of Southern Hemisphere drivers I might choose to stick with the current times and keep it more in the middle.
