RDSTL S1 - Super Touring League (GTR Evolution)

Div 1 is really really really exhausting as i found out yesterday, needed a long-ish shower afterwards, but to finish 4th, had battles for 2nd, i could hardly wished for a better race than that xD
i'm not sure just how everything works here, cause i had all the fixes and saw all of the skins, no problems. apart from the bugs with chevys -.-
Zhuhai race report
Qualy: I risk not all and could did a solid lap on P5
Race: Unfortunately i follow Rami in the first corner (the soft line through the grass) and lost 3 positions. I´m follow Rami and noticed that is not easy to overtake slower cars. One time i was a littlebit too late on brake and touch Rami but good luck nothing happen.
After he pass Joao i couldn´t follow him and stay behind. After two laps i could profit from a mistake from Joao and get P7. The same with Martijn, he go wide and i could go through on P6. Then stop 1 where i´m came 1,5sec out behind Bram. I could close the gap but i needed about 8 laps till we go side by side on straight where Bram brake too late first corner and i could pass him. (was nice racing Bram)
About lap 40 i made a short stop which not really worked because the engine don´t start after refueling and i must made it manual, that cost me some seconds.
Nevertheless i could go on P4 (with a perfect stop i think P3 was possible because was only 4 s behind) with about 5 s in front of Andrius. Only 8 laps to go to bring it home. After 4 laps he was nearly behind me and in turn two i defending on the left side where he want to pass me, he brake later and push me off the track. From me not really fair but i notice he see it in a other way. Anyway he don´t wait and i could finish on P5 5sec infront of Bram.
I made an incident report and will see what is decide. I want to know how other see this to adept my driving in the one or other way.
Finally congrats to podium and especially Peter for win :clap2:

We are really proud of our boys. Philip Antonia and Dave Gardner did both a nice job. Grats Phil with ya win and good job Dave to get some points home.

I looked again and I did overtake you in the begining, I'm sorry I didn't mean to, I guess i didn't notice that i overtook you and was just trying to stay behind the one infront of me..
Legue 1
Nice start of the season, contrary to what in a way were my (unwanted) expectations, as far as I could see, the race went very cleanly and event free (especially if we take into account it was the first of the championship). Thanks everyone involved…
Qualify (7th)
The qualifying lap went ok nevertheless stayed .5 of a sec of my PB. With everyone so close, any major failure would mean a deep in the grid start position.
Race (7th)
In a way a quiet and uneventful race.
Early on (while circulating in 6th), as I decided to have a sort of introductory pace to the race had a few people behind me that were notably quicker. With an overtake in one of the few possible overtaking points and a 4 seconds mistake of mine dropped to a comfortable 8th with 9th more than 10 seconds away.
After the 1st pit-stop, did the only overtake for position of all race in a small 2 lap battle with Martijn (Seat) and climbed to 7th. After that the distance to 6th kept constant but sort of distant. On top of that, at the 2nd pit-stop both 5th& 6th gained 4 seconds to me and that was (too) costly to gain back.
Never managed to go back into the practice 26s and only did a 27.081 as a PFL on what was the 5th fastest lap of the event (about 1sec above Event FL).
The final 7th place was ok, as Tobias was 9th, in the end we both did a solid team result which was well within EndUrance Team desires for the 1st race in a stop&go and far from well liked racetrack.

i've seen all the skins too. No. 1 i saw 4 times. 
only problem occur during the end of the practice, a major freeze down at the TDRC team. (so also Martijn) and i think some others had the same problem.
After restarting the computer, i had to shut it down, everything was working fine again.

There is a problem with the Chevy that it will show the original skin at a distance, as far as I know there isn't a fix.

We were driving similar laptimes all the time. I think we battled for a lot of laps and it was fantastic to take the defensive lines at some corners to avoid you overtaking me: top class racing mate!On the straight i decided to take the inside line, and when you defend you cannot switch lines anymore. I heard the roar of your beemer coming up my tail and decided this is the moment: either i win this battle and i never let you pass anymore
D) or i miss my apex and you can pass me on the inside accelerating out of the corner. Oh well, forgot about option three: braking too late and hit the grass (lol).
Nevertheless it was my battle of the race, really cool!!
About my last 3 lap

I see it similar to you, really great racing. I try much to to come in your near but you had really good traction out of slow corners where i was often to far away, only the last fast corner gave me the chance to go on your side out of the slipscreen.
From me :thumb:, it was the highlight from my race too.

Well, this race was better then expected due to my conservative aero and pitstop setup. :doh2:
Qualification especially Super Pole isn't my thing, so as usual I screw this up in 2 corners and went only by a margin better then my fastest race lap. Starting in the midfield, I wasn't prepared for full throttle before the last turn, therefore I lost some seconds till I came to the little mess in T1. Gained 2 or 3 places and was trying to close the gap to Andreas but clearly didn't had the raw speed in this early laps. In lap 9 I made a costly spin and Mark overtook me. After a few rounds I was able to pass Mark, but slightly misjudge his position, when I was driving back to the raceline before the last turn. In the end my rear bumper touches his side, I lift the throttle till he was right back on my bumper.
As the result of my errors the man in front of me was over 15 seconds away so I was pushing to cut the margins down.
After the 2nd pitstop i was on Martijn tails and trying to study his weaker points on the track, but I did the mistake first and run wide in his slipstream at the last turn. :sleepin:
The last laps weren't enough time to battle Martijn again, resulting in a solid 9th place. :smile-big: Last thing, I don't know who it was, but in the last minutes of the race I was overlapping a blue Seat, who was lagging like hell and all over the place. I wasn't pass him in a way I normally do. Sorry for that, couldn't anticipate your position properly.
Thanks to the people who makes this event possible and all the fair racers yesterday. :kissing:

Woow,what a season opener!
Had a good qually,8 th place.Made a good start and won some places,managed to hang on to Brams rear bumper for a few laps but could 'nt keep that pace up for very long. Made 1 big mistake witch costs me,in going wide in the gravel and loosing a place.
Still managed to finish 8th in the end what made me a proud man.lol.
Thx all for the fun and clean racing,hoping to get closer to the front runners at Barcalona

Ok, guys, sorry for being so absent, but I'm back now!
I had to make an emergency surgery (appendicitis), but I'm recovering now. I'm still at 80%, but I'm gonna be 100% for sure by the next weekend. I'm gonna get back home tomorrow, so the activities are gonna be back to normal also.
I read almost nothing from the past days, but I'll get back to the topics soon...

Due to my absence this weekend I have not been able to monitor and regulate the asentees and replacements for the first round. My apologies for that, especially to the Patagonic team. Sorry guys.
To get confusion out of the way. A team owner only needs to post in this thread when one of his cars can't make it to the grid. No posts are needed to out in a reserve driver that was already entered into the league.
A team should have two cars on the grid. If the team's regular (2) drivers cannot drive, the replacements (#3 and #4) should enter. Only they cannot fill the empty spot a team is excused. However a team with less than 4 drivers should try to attract new drivers.

GPCOS has been updated. All team that were registered are now put in their Divisions and all drivers that registered are now in the teams.
Drivers can enter their accounts to the league by 'applying' to the team in GPCOS. Of course I can lend a hand as well, if it is too complicated.
