Qualy went bad with a 20th place and with 21 contenders :sad:.

The start whoas really tricky as i did not wont to hit the rider in front of me.
So i started easy and with not hurry.
In T1 one there whas cars al over the place as there whas clearly some physical contact.
That give me like p16 or so.
After 19 laps i decided to pit for the first time.
That took forever and like 35sec later i went back on track.
Drove a nice pace for myself and try`d to put myself in 15th place.
After my second stop i thought that the 15th place whoas at no way possible.
But as the second stint got along others where making mistakes and the driver ( Jamie Rushworth ) in front of me hit the wall and i saw the 20 sec gap decreasing to 10 sec.
After another lap a saw him spun again and took 16th spot.
And so i finisht my first RDSTL race outside the points.
To bad but i`m proud to say that i did not spun once and finisht this terrible car ( i mean the rwd ) as i always used to drive fwd cars.

I`m happy my team mate scored some well deserved points

Don't like the track, but that's just me. Had terrible balance when cornering and braking was woeful. But Jan managed to salvage a point, which is great considering that he was only drafted in a couple of days ago to replace an injured Felipe... Aritan Maia. Jan did what Badoer couldn't!

Looking forward to the next one, and will make sure I have a more bulletproof setup. Congrats to all, and cheers to organisers and admins :thumb:

loads of laps today to get this beast under control,qualy with a decent time beeing too careful not to mess up the superpole lap so ending with a 10th spot on the grid.
Start was ok from my point of view,no hits or anything but it was hard with those icecold tyres and brakes in lap 1 so was trying to take it easy...in lap 2 i got payed for the "slow" driving when Jamie spun me and i ended up facing the train of cars going through turn 7 as i was in the middle of the track at the exit of the turn i didnt dare to move until everyone passed so,starting over in 21th position.
Took a few positions and had 2 great battles with Neil Gault before and after my 2nd pitstop,trying to catch Rickard Norgren at the end when Bram came to lap me and he was comming quick,pulled aside to let him go but then after a lap or 2 he gets a hard time with his tyres and i just couldnt get past to unlap myself and try to catch Rickard anymore.
Finished 12th i think.

@ Jamie....checked the replay and it was an accident so don't worry about it,was an awful place you turned me in thou so pls pick a better place next time

Well, i really can't say anything bad about my race (apart from 2 lil' incidents.. 1 in particular -.-)

Qualy was absolutely gaspingly good, with 4th place in my clutches, i started the race a happy, but worried dude. I also think i messed the rolling start after the last turn cause the 3 beemers were gaining distance, that was untill Rami missed the turn, and i got into 3rd (nearly 2nd, even) the next 10 (about) were closely following Teo, not battling, just following, with Rami 5secs behind, he sarted GAINING!!! (tiny panic kicked i, after all, i was going nowhere with Teo and Rami coming up my behind slowly xD, i just knew this wouldn't end well at some point)
After the 1st pit, i outwhited Teo (haha! no offence man) and started frantically running from him.. only... erm... with no luck, i kept the distance for around 3 laps, but 4 consecutive "screw-ups" got him on me tail, and then Rami joined the fight!! oo!! that lasted for around 2 laps till i accidentally closed in on teo, and hit his front panel with my rear (i just had not to listen to my gutt feeling -.-) spun, lost 3 secs, but kept rolling!!! only to make a major OTHER "screw-up the next lap, back to 10 secs, never got closer to the podium.
after the 2nd pit, i was 6th, saw Bram (5th) coming out of the pits and decided to slowly, well, just pass him, i start turning into turn one. *what the?!?!?!" bram goes past me on the inside and out he went.
Then i started gainig relentlessly on Lofler, and that got dirty after i had cought up to him. No further comment -.-
After the "incident" i was 4th for the last 2 laps, no major events and o i finished in a very healthy debut spot, YAY!!!!!!!

Qualified P16 with a very bad lap.
Race was quite lonley actually. I was in P10 for many laps but seemed to lose a lot of time in the pit. After my second stop I was in P14 and a little surprised how much time I lost. I made one mistake in the race and really enjoyed the race as a whole. I also started to feel more comfortable with the car and I'm sure I will improve as the season goes on.I at least score two points and am glad that both Team Maypole cars finished.

well done to the podium and see you all at the next round.

Nothing exciting by qualified 14th and finished 15th. Come lap 30 my legs started to go dead for some reason.... After that was struggling to keep the car on the track

You're just not used to finishing more than 1 lap... even that's a push sometimes

On the race,i can not catch 3rd car,so,only keep stable 1:28 & 29 running,and the second pit stop finish,Dan in front of me,oh,my god,will be finish,i on 5th,and then,i full power want to catch him,and i can feel him also full power running,so,finish is Dan 4th,me 5th,good nice race on RDSTL Round 1,

I cannot believe what happened!!! Halfway through the pace lap, all the cars disappeared! I cycled through the cars (with the + sign), they came back for a second then disappeared again. I went into the pits and tried again but to no avail. HOW FREAKING FRUSTRATING!issed-off:

I qualified 5th with a new PB of 1:27.8. I was really looking forward to the race, and was excited when the warmup lap ended and we sped off.

What happens next? On the first lap, my machine decides to randomly restart itself. All that preparation, and getting up at 3am for nothing... I'm ... "extremely disappointed" to say the least. :at-wits-end:

Really sorry to hear that guys. It's very upsetting when you've prepared for a race like this. Hope you have better luck next time out.

For me. Well I'll do my race report later, but I've got my first league win:woop:. I've have no idea how it happened. Qual lap was .7 quicker than my PB. Then only one minor error in the race running off at the chicane and losing my lead to Johan briefly. I cannot believe I managed to focus and deal with the nerves all at the same time:messed:. Good racing and battle with Johan and Michel to:good:.

A proper report to come later.

Great Race mate as usual! I couldn't believe how close I was following you during the first 12 laps, was very good racing!

Chris I think this answers your question about being over taken on the formation lap.

as you can see from the screenshots, I clearly qualified in front of Hampus.

I'm checking the replay now.

I have seen the replay. Hampus I do not believe you were purposefully trying to gain a postion. The reason I overtook you on the formation lap was regain my starting position. Then you overtook me again because you obviusly thought you should be starting in P8.

And Mr Garcia, thankyou for bending my rear bumper on the formation lap. Frank Herjford spent ages skinning my car, he will be annoyed to see you scratching on the formation lap!!

Well i am very happy that both Rickard and myself scored some points in a very hard fought race :woot2:
I made a backside of qualifying as i totaly screwed up (i think) turns 10 and 11 and i was nearly a second down on the time i was hoping for, but even if i had got the time i was looking for it would of made little difference to the grid as i thing i would only have moved up 2 or 3 places.

Got off to an ok start and managed to avoid any first corner scraps and finished the lap in 13th place following a very smoky Mark Guy who's dif must have been set very low as he smoked the tyres like crazy out of nearly every corner:sick2:
Had a few little scraps and kept it going until the end of lap 21 then pitted in 5th place for new tyres and some fuel. Came out of the pits in 13th between Jan in 12th and my team mate Rickard in 14th, then i see that Mikael has got past Rickard so my cusheon to Mikael is gone :struggle: so it was foot down and try and pull away but he was too quick and soon caught me and even went i went past jan Mikael soon followed and the next 6 laps he nibbled at my heals looking for a way past and i could see him getting more frustrated as the laps wore on so once my pit window was open i let him go and pitted while in 13th the very next lap as after that fight i was in need of a rest and i thought it would clear me of some traffic (which it did) :good:

Exited the pits in 14th after what appeared to be a extra long stop as i only took on fuel but hat to wait another 10 or so seconds after they they had finished fueling before i could go, but a few laps later i was in 12th and smiling again as i could see Mikael must of had a longer stop as i past him while he was in the pits and i was looking forward to a good little fight again :drool:
With my team mate only 2 seconds up the road i knew i had to hold Mikael back but he was too quick and i could only hold him for 3 or 4 laps but it was enough for Rickard to hold onto 11th and i had a good enough gap to Mark behind me to hold onto 13th although he did make me speed up for the last 2 laps as his car was dancing about like a demented crab in my mirrors and i just did fancy it following too close before the lag he had got the better of us :wink2:
