So far im 2nd and 7 secs behind Keiran Poole. Never thought i'd make it this high . But i'm sure i've shot my load early cus the next couple stages are killlers, 9,10 & 11 are the devil

Welp... I did the four "days" of the rally over the course of four real-world days, and it's clear that on day three, I just wasn't on pace at all. Despite fairly solid day four times, the damage was done. Currently 10th by my estimation, but once @PresidentSmug blows the doors off of my lesser Kadett, I'll certainly end up lower.

I finish this rally now and it was ehhhh ok-.
I never can find a good feeling in this game yet, i a'm use to RBR rally and i can't get the same good Control over the car here.
So i struggeld a lot, the worst part was the stages from 5-11. After that i begining to know the stages a bit better and the times was better too and i did not do any mistake so i guess it is ok.

Totally shattered. Did the first 10 stages without any real incident and was keeping up with those in the same car as me but on stage 11, ended up on top of a pile of snow after a small spin. Could not reverse back onto the road and going forward meant I would hit a tree. Pushed the car slowly forward to tree and that was then the end of me, 88% irreparable damage
Well finished rally for me, made it through with only minor contact here and there. Was hoping for the top half of the grid, so 45th is something I'm well chuffed with!

But on the PC at least, you can at any moment you like hit escape and within the pause menu you can use "recover" to get you back on the road, even if it hasn't detected that you're stuck.
As for me, I've now managed to make it to the first checkpoint at the end of stage 8. I was busy thinking I was nearly half-way there until I re-read the itinerary and realised I'm about one third into it! Lying in P19 at present, and if only I could stay there I'd be in for a few points
(Yeah, only have to (a) finish the damn rally and (b) persuade the people who haven't started yet to drive nice and slowly!)Some bad stages and some good, mostly no complaints really, even managed to set at least one PB, shockingly enough.
Damn but that slippery stuff at the top of Route 1 is a pain in the ass though, much more annoying than the top of Route 2 (which is slippery but isn't endless hairpins on ice). I'll be very glad to be done with that. However, the faster tarmaccy bits are great fun, even when wet.
[Edit: actually the really fast snowy/icy bits at the top of Route 2 are fantastic fun to take sideways at speed too, and I must admit I'm gradually getting better at the slow hairpin-y bits on Route 1 so maybe I'll actually finish the rally liking them!]

That was my comeback into the championship for a long time, so I was looking forward to it.
...But in the end, it was a total nightmare. I had very low FPS on the first 5 stage, until I didn't figure out what's the problem. (I'd like to grab the chance and thanks for the guys at Codemasters & nVidia, for this "great feature" to put the game to the GF Experience...This software f*** up the settings totally. It doesn't matter what you set up inside the game, some reason your FPS will be still too low; you have to set it up inside the GF Experince as welll....never mind, ahhhh.)
So, because of the low FPS (30 - khmmm Codemasters), I had a pretty big spun in the first stage, which led to a puncture & 1:30 penalty...thank you Sir! The next 12 stages were relatively good (or at least, better...), but then the SS13...pfff...I hate that stage. There's only 1 place in the Monte stages, where the wall/barrier helps you to fall off from the mountain - and yeah, I found it successfully. Terminal damage, hellyeah!
The team & our sponsors won't be so happy to re-build the whole car...at least my teammate (Balazs Toldi) had a good rally, with a nice results.
Good luck for everyone else, who is going to do the rally in the next few days, and see you at Sweden!

Anyway, atm team Dirt Central has 1st and 6th and that might be the lead of 2wd- in team standings
