Okey Douglas cheers, no problemo, knew you were doing the viper just wanted to make sure I didnt do the skin twice haha for if you had already done it

I did a quick test of a draft Viper skin, too, and thought it was a bit shiny. I'm saving the .dds as DTX1, is that what you're doing Lee?

*edit* Reading some forum threads of rFactor skinning I think I should maybe save it at DTX5 ARGB Interpolated Alpha but I wouldn't mind someone confirming that.

ok i have done the veh file, i have my dds body file too, put it in a folder call as required but i can't see the car ingame, where do i need to put my folder ?

Edit:

We have created a RDGTC class within the mod so you will find your car easily on the car selection interface of the game.

i don't see an RDGTC class in the mod in the game

I would really appreciate help with skinning a Aston, or actually two Aston one for me and one for Kjell Stenbeck. Since i know i useless with that kind of stuff ... or actually i havent the slightest ide how to do it.. Many thx in advance

Have fixed it now, thanks . Using the DTX5 option and setting the image transparency to 50 (on a 0-255 scale) seems to fix it

Just having a small problem... when I'm joining the server to do some laps, I'm getting a GDB mismatch. I re-downloaded the track from the RD downloads section so I'm not sure what could be wrong...

You have another Suzuka installed?
Make sure you have only Suzuka 2008 in Locations.

What level of mipmaps are you using, I seem to remember using 6 for GTR 2 and Evo? I'm a bit rusty with my skinning!

Yves - I put mine in the c:\games\rFactor\gamedata\vehicles\NAGT\carsets\SWC-GT and it shows up no problem in-game.

Douglas its getting them made we need help with plz . We looked at it during this evening and to be honest im/we are so lost with that kind of stuff its embarrasing .. So if u would be so kind to help us out we are really grateful .
