RDGTC S3 - Skin instructions

For season 3 it's mandatory to have your own skin, if you are not able to create your own skin, we encourage you to find help of the community. Logo's
Racedepartment and RDGTC logo's needs a place on every car, where is up to you as long they are visible. A skin submitted without these logo's will be rejected. These logo's can be downloaded at the bottom of this post.
Legal Issues:
- When you use logo's of registered trademarks you have written permission to use them.
- When you don't have written permission RaceDepartment can not be held responsible for any legal actions the trademark holder can take against you. You and only you are responsible for your skin.
DDS Files
There is a max of 2 .DDS files accepted for your skin, the main body file and the windows file. This to prevent any inconviences it may cause if more files are in the skin folder.
You will need to rename your created DDS files as following: Carbrand_Firstname_Lastname (ie Porsche_Remco_Wildt.dds)
For your window file, rename it to: Carbrand_Firstname_LastnameWINDOW (ie Porsche_Remco_WildtWINDOW.dds)
Vehicle files
We have created a RDGTC class within the mod so you will find your car easily on the car selection interface of the game. To get this done the vehicle file (.veh) needs to be edited. For every car in the league we have made these files already, there are a few lines within this file you have to fill in. You can download the .veh files pack at the bottom of this post.
Edit your file
- Select the correct .veh file from the pack and open it with notepad.
- Put your main car body .dds file name here (highlighted in bold)
- DefaultLivery="Your body .dds file"
- Fill out the rest of the required data in the .veh file (highlighted in bold)
- Team="RDGTC Aston Martin DBRS9 .." note: Put the letters of your first and last name on the dots
- Driver="Your name"
- FullTeamName="Your name"
- After filling in the required fields, rename your .veh file to: Carbrand_firstname_lastname (ie Porsche_Remco_Wildt.veh)
Only use the .veh files from the download at the bottom!!!!!! Do not create one yourself or pick one from the gamefiles.
Submitting your file
When you have created your .DDS file(s) and .veh file, put them in a folder and rename the folder as: RDGTC_Firstname_Lastname (ie RDGTC_Remco_Wildt).
Add the folder in a .ZIP or an .7z file and upload it here together with a picture:
