In this case I'd make sure all my downloaded 3rd party content was moved out of the installation directory and try redownloading and installing the F3 mod.
Failing that with all 3rd party content saved elsewhere I'd delete all local content through Steam, restart machine and then reinstall AC.

Someone may be able to assist with less drastic measures but this worked for me last time I had issue with AC

When you're entering a practice session or whatever, does it give you any error? Or does it just crash back to the UI? Do your log files show anything?

It crashes me into the UI, haven't read the logs actually, but in my 'crash_logs' folder are only 4 logs from July 2015.

You want to be looking in the logs.txt file and scroll all the way to the bottom.

Looks like I'm ok. Bumped it up to 30 on Bathurst with GT3s and it stayed solid at 60fps

That one only seemed to log my latest working run with the Audi R8 GT3 on Zandvoort. Not the crashing Dallara F312 :o
Other logs do show that I start ks_zandvoort with dallara_f312 and skin f3eu_verstappen (also tried with others) but no reason why it 'disconnects' or exits
