I know mate but this is a very technical track and I've always struggled on F1 with this one. Probably the hardest track on any sim game for me.
If you need there are a few setups here: http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/threads/season-11-race-02-singapore-setup-thread.74721/

David and Sean's have provided the quickest times, but mine (post 6) I think is more forgiving and easier to drive. I think quickest way to learn a track is to find a setup that you are happy with, stick to it and do a lot of laps

The first race that I raced for the league I was 6 seconds slower than the slowest guy and was my first race with these cars. If you don't feel comfy when some one is lapping you just take to an escape road and wait cause it takes a while to get use to these cars. I personally am not looking to be the fastest or going to try something stupid cause for me it's practice. I'm sure you won't cause an accident. And I hope to see you on track. Hope this helps :D

Thanks for two fun races all :)

Race 1 I started with 38 liters and fueled 37 and changed all tyres. The light car allowed me to have numerous great fights with the likes of Guus and David :) Unfortunatly I did not have neough fuel and had to save fuel last two laps and lost my 3rd to Bob Luneski.

Race 2 I started with 77 liters and changed tyres at pit stop. Towards the end of the first stint I was 1 sec behind Eliezer on 4th or 5th, but I was not able to close the gap. I decided to pit before him and hope to get ahead with a "perfect" pit stop. I never saw him again, so he must have lost times in the pits somehow (what did you do? I only changed tyres). Anyhoo, I was now in 3rd with Guus 8 seconds safely behind me (what happened?). Towards the end I got 2nd due to Sean not finishing (fuel?)-

Two great races

Well, awesome fun, after a lot of practice It turns out that you can enjoy racing in singapore, not just suffer each corner.

Q 13th Not very good lap, but did not mind much.
R1: 8th, basically gaining places from people retiring or having some problem. I stood behind Valerio for many laps, I was slightly faster, but not enough to pass. Then it was time for the pits, and I got a stop&go for speeding (I fumbled with the speed limiter after the tyre change). There I lost the chance to stick to Valerio and got a stable 8th.

R1> started 1st, although after T1 I was already second. I held a bit but on the "slingshot" (the 3 corners that you take like one), Valerio took the apex and I tried to give room... with very bad results for me:cry:, car jumped all over and got passed by a a lot of cars. After that a few interesting laps with Reggie junior behind me, after he finally managed to pass. A few laps later somebody spun on a tight corner (S2) and many of us touched. Went to pits, this time only two tyres to try to gain some seconds. After pits again behind Reggie but could not catch him. Crusing 7th, but slowly Bob Miley got to me (helped by a couple of mistakes I did), and overtook me on last lap. I tried to go all out to retake the place and it would have been a really tight one... but on sector3 the car started to lose power due to almost out of fuel so I had to settle for 8th.

So double 8th, quite some fun, and very much trained for Wednesday. Only bad thing is that there is almost no place for a safe overtake here (even lapping can be tricky). Valerio take care in the slingshot corner because I will not be so nice next time :sneaky:
