It was great fun racing for the first time, I even managed a 6th place on the first race after qualifying fifth which I'd call a success.

The second race didn't go too well, I was getting cramps from practicing for three hours straight prior to the race since it was the first time both in the car and the circuit for me and had to figure out a decent setup as well as braking points etc. I managed to get a stop-go from rolling before the start and then was given a friendly nudge from a car behind me spinning me out a few turns later at which point I decided to get some rest and retired from the race.

All-in-all great fun and looking forward to more races :D

I'm free tonight, but have no idea if I'm gonna sign up. If I'm not mistaken, this track has some very sharp corners about everywhere. I don't think my wrists can handle that for 80 minutes :(

Race 1 results:
1st SEAT
2nd HONDA
3rd SCIROCCO

Race 2 results:
1st SEAT
2nd SCIROCCO
3rd HONDA

Justin,

Race results do not proof a car being to fast. There is also a driver factor.

When I analyse the physics files, the Sirocco is based on a Honda Chassis with the body aero and engine of a Lacetti. Compared to most cars it's got a very good suspension. That with the CG rearrange of 58% compared to 60% on regular FWD's will give it better a cornering capability and higher corner exit speed.

If I would run the VW in a racing club I would add +/- 10kg - 15kg maybe 20kg on the server.

Same goes for the BMW's, but these cars are harder to drive because of an alternative suspension (.sp) file with lower inertia settings.

As said before, the VW scirocco is to fast but also hard to setup. But once you got it down... Ace car.
