Two amazing races! :D

Now I remember why I love touring cars so much. You don't get this kind of racing in any other category. But next time I will take the BMW, the Cruze is a good car, but FWD cars are not for me. Still, a 3rd and a 4th place was really, really nice! Thanks Peter for the amazing fight in R1, it was great! A little bump here and there, but other than that, excellent! R2 was nice too, even though I didn't fight much.

See ya next time!;)

Got pole and after some paint traiding in the first laps of race 1, I climbed up into the lead again, with some lovely fights on the way.....only to crash after 7 laps in the last corner lol. Overdid it a little...hm well.
Starting from 12th in R2, I had some nice battles and finally won .

Great track btw

Wet tyres and less braking pressure are about the only changes I make. But then, setups never have been my strong point. Didn't find I was any faster when trying so-called wet setups downloaded through the garage though, so perhaps it doesn't make a lot of odds in the Minis.

Bumped off in R1 from 9th, restarted at the back, finished 8th.
Locked up into the hairpin trying to outbrake Ken and took him off. Waited for him to rejoin and we had a good battle but he seemed to lose his tyres so got past at the hairpin a few laps later. Sorry Ken.
Started from pole in R2. Had a very long 1st gear and was amazingly slow off the line. Erik drifted into me in turn 1 which once again left me in last place facing the wrong way.Plodded round for the next 25 minutes and finished 8th or 9th.
Nice track but not sure it was suited to the Toyota.
Thnaks RD and to the other drivers.

Thanks to all, great fun. (apart from all the times i was hit)
Race 1: Q8, was hit hard from behind while braking for T1, tapped into oversteer at the hairpin exit, then cut off (hit) hard twice in a row by one car all in lap 1, dropped to 10th, finished 5th. Gonna stop me, you'll have to do better.
Race 2: DNF, crashed in the last corner of lap 1. One wheel off the tarmac (in the dirt) in the last corner and it was all over because I went over the barrier/guard rail. I didn't think it would lose grip there because of the new tires, but I forgot I now had close to 40 litres on board, compared to less than 3 at the end of R1.

Edit: yes, the track is wonderful.

Well that were 2 nice races on a gr8 track.
Q 5th I think but had a good start, managed to get into 3rd at the end of the straight. But then there were some incidents in front of me so I was in the lead after a couple of laps. Really pleased with the victory.

R2 started in 8th but was again 3rd at the end of the straight. Dunno if the concentration was less but I made some silly mistakes. Sorry for my spin which blocked a couple of guys. After that I wrecked my car going wide on the last corner so I could enjoy my rum-cola watching you race :D

Congrats on your win Matthias!

It was great yesterday.

The track is far from what I prefer (two much long curves and straight on) but I had a great time.
Qualy: 14th...some difficulties to be in the good mood with my Astra
Race 1: I made my best start ever! from 14th, I was 6th/7th, I couldn't believe it, then it was really hard to follow the rythm, I was a bit slower than lot of you, but what saved me is, that I was regular, made almost no mistakes I finished 6th, my best result in RD.
Race 2: 3rd Position on the grid, I made a good start and was 2nd.... not for a long time, because there was a lot of pressure behind me (the Hondas ;)). I tried to follow the rythm, and lost 2 places I think. But in the chicane, there was an accident, I tried to avoid the car, but slided a bit and could avoid the accident car. Fortunatly, my speed was low, anyway I lost 3/4 places. the next laps, I drove regular, and took the benefit of the mistakes of some of you to finish 8th.

Thank you all & thanks RD for the event.

It was a very good event , the track is wonderful.
I was learning the track during practice and qualy , i could manage a 6th in qualy , but far from a perfect lap.
R1: I had a good start, tried to pass a group on outside line , but Andrew pushed me to the grass , and had an touch in T1 , so i lost all of position what i won with start ....it was a very enjoyful race , a good fight with Matthias , then with Mario and Andrew , but we had a bigger touch and my supension has damaged, but didnt lose too much pace , so finishing on 4th.
R2: again a good start and i took the lead in first turn, then i could build a little gap out , but Matthias had very hard pace and caught me in 4th lap , we had a 1-2 laps fight and he passed me , then the race had been boring , just took the laps alone, so a 2nd place.
To the end of race i have figured out where i lost too much , next time i have to develop on my gearbox ratios...and end of the race my front left tyres totally worned , so in the last turn i was suffering , and lost :)

Thank you all and RD!
