Wow that was great fun as always ... sorry i had to leave before race 2 started...
My friend came over to set up my fritzbox....and it works.......yihaaaaaaaa:)
i really like this track and the cars were great fun... ..
And a great turn out...lets keep it up...

Enjoyed this a lot. I was 2nd on the race two reverse grid and lost my bottle a bit. I tried to keep out of everyone's way but I think someone got damaged. Also I oversteered into the pit exit on about lap three and I thought I had enough time to recover before the car behind arrived in the fast sweepers but I changed my mind. I tried to get off line but failed sorry. I think it was about lap three.

@Ross Garland If the skin files would be named like "STCC2 Racing Skins 120412.rar" for example that would be perfect. No need for downloading 45MB when I know that I have the same version. But that's only how I see it. :)
As I have already said, Jorge posts in the event thread every time he updates the pack. Check the thread, and you'll know if there is an update.

Also, the current link to the pack never changes. Renaming the file every time would mean a new link. That means editing the OP every time the post is updated. I see no reason to create extra work for Jorge and RD staff just because a few people don't want to look through a thread.

When you have signed up we expect you to be there, if for any reason you can not make it you can sign out 1 hour prior till the practice starts, otherwise you will be reported as a no-show.
You can not sign up as a maybe, you are there or you are not, we will not reserve grid places for people that might be there, we rather give them to people that will there.

At the moment qualification starts and not all places are taken reserves can go into the server.

This was good fun. First race ever in these, and the BMW's default setup apparently is quite good as my pace wasn't that far off in race 1, I finished a lonely 6th.:)

For Race 2 the reversed grid was kinda scary though, as almost the full field pushed to pass me in lap 1. That pressure made me spin in Lap 2 T1:D , and got me a flat RF tire:( . Had to limp around the whole track on 3 wheels to the pit, and then once again, as I'd not done a Race07 pitstop before and messed up my first attempt. By then I was one lap down on the entire field so last place was the best I could do.

Grats to all podium finishers, Thanks to RD and to Yves for this event!

My first race in this comunity!
Sign me up please!

PD: I'm practicing offline, what times do the people? 1:55? More? Less?

Thank you! :)
Hey Ivan! Welcome.

I also have been practising online, and getting around 1:54's, with a quick lap being a mid to high 1:53.
to put this in perspective, I am usually mid to the back of the pack after qualifying.

however, I think that most of the racers on here would agree that being able to do consistent laps in the race, is much better than outright pace in qualy :)

hope this helps, and see you in the race! :)

Cheers
