Skinpacks should be showed here with some date or so and it wouldn't be a problem anymore. I never know if there was an update, but I'm lazy to download it everytime. Or at least, the zip file should be named accordingly. That could solve the problem.

Jorge kindly posts every time he updates the skinpack, so all you have to do is keep an eye on the thread. If you don't want to do that then it only takes a minute to download and install it before you join the server. Very easy.

Maybe for you with 21st century internet speeds...I kid you not sometimes it can take 30 minutes to download the skinpack thanks to my useless internet! Dunno how it manages to stand up to online racing...

Ok, if you have bad internet it may take longer. But if you know that then you can simply download it earlier. Most updates are done days before the event is due to start, so downloading it the night or morning before the event starts would be fine.

To be honest I didn't upload it, with S2000 events especially I don't decide which car I'm driving until just before official practice, so it might be a bit much to expect everyone to download 5 different skins while I make up my mind.

I'd probably do better if I picked a car and stuck to it, but variety is the spice of life after all.

@Ross Garland If the skin files would be named like "STCC2 Racing Skins 120412.rar" for example that would be perfect. No need for downloading 45MB when I know that I have the same version. But that's only how I see it.

Very nice races. I enjoyed especially the 2nd race, the battle with Mark was great. Could have been a really close finish if I actually didn't spin the car in last corner lol. Hit the wall, engine died, and the car stopped before the finish line, really unlucky. But that's not what matters really.
