I wasn't as slow in practice as I thought I would be. I haven't driven touring cars for a few months. However, I was faster with full tank in practice than in qual. My quals are always terrible.

Who was that "acenickells" guy?

I don't get it here at RD. Why am I not surprised that I was pushed from the behind and ended up in barrier? Yeah, the problematic first lap as always. Why not to be patient? I haven't had that much incidents with AI. I always try not to crash into someone in the first lap, but my reward is to be overtaken or rammed from behind. Why bother practice for races?

As far as I know this was a RD organized club event and the RD rules apply but many people did't even realize there was CORNER N2 at this track :) Oh and I didn't like the way I lost so many positions. Hiting the car in front and then take it's place is not cool.

guy's complaining in the event thread doesn't help if you want the racing club to be cleaner and fair you need to report the offenders its the only way the racing club will get better.

That was entertaining stuff...

Started 11th, the guy in front of me on the grid jumped the start and made me jump, by the time I'd hit the brakes the lights were out and I dropped to about 17th... fought my way back up to 7th, then had a good battle with Reggie before he got the better of me, my tyres began to go and with a few laps left i was 7th with 2 guys closing fast. Penultimate lap Emil looked like he was going to have got up the inside of me after I'd crept round the apex of the hairpin in S2 but it caught out the guy behind him obviously and Emil went around. Unlucky for him but great for me!

Second race 2nd on the grid, had no chance of stopping the wave of BMWs but managed to get into T1 in 5th until a combination of Tobias turning into me when I was pretty much fully ahead, and Jack 'Kithley' cutting across and not entering the track safely put me around and well down the field. In the end I had a great battle with Mark, Bobby and Lars which went on for over half the race before again my tyres went completely and I dropped back right at the end.

Good fun, but some of the guys at the front need to learn to respect other drivers and not just barge them out of the way.

A last minute entry, I should have stayed home, lol! Entering during Q without a setup at this track, with this group was stupid no time to get happy but oh well, I'm here.

R1: I'm doing horrible, sliding and unable to hold track position. A new member of the Race 07 community happens to come into TS to get some questions answered about our club racing, not a new guy, just new to Race07, so, I'm not in a "race" and I chat with him. It's apparent I can't handle this car and even talk at the same time so I drop out to give some information to the fresh meat. End of R1.

R2: Same car, same drive but no chat! A struggle. An incident with Marian has me dropping way back, I knew this race wasn't going to be much better. Somehow I thought there was going to be a pitstop but no info inrace so I push on and slowly catch up to Reggie Sn, it was good for me to have a chase but I couldn't take his place.

Thanks to the race RD, Yves!

Given that Jack KEithley wasnt signed up and his name was spelt wrong I am guessing this was an imposter, especially given that some guy who hasnt got a membership tried to enter the race and had to be told SEVERAL TIMES to leave and the reasons why. From what I saw his driving standards were very poor especially having raced with the REAL JACK who is clearly alot quicker and safer. Alfred Bono was the guy who joined without a membership, so putting 2 and 2 together..... Anyway, I was also accused of firing him off at the start of raec 2 when infact it was my brother who HE carelessly drove into having taken a massive cut in turn 1.

Anyway, Just my thoughts. What a cracking race it was tonight, was delighted to qualify in P3 despite the BMW's being very quick. Got mugged at the start by the BMW's and ended up in like P7 by the time we got to turn 1. Had a great race, avoided incidents and took advantage of them, raced hard where nessersary and managed to take a great P1 with some epic battles along the way!!

Race two was much of the same albeit slightly less dramatic for me. Picked my way through the pack slowly after the reverse grid to take P2, again with some great fights along the way.

Thanks to all RD members who took part, and RD for organising the event, I had so much fun!

P.S... Appologies to Jack Keithley if it was you driving tonight, and I have just slated you for no reason!

That was fun. Fun racing, close racing and a bit too close at times. Had some help to spin me around a few times, would have gotten better results if not. As Nik said, lost out on eigth in R1, which was a bit of a shame. Still, fun racing, albeit very frustrating at times.

Also interesting that we had a Jack Kithley with us tonight. It is unusual to see someone spell their own name wrong, especially since he was using someone else's Steam account, but I'm sure that there is a logical explaination.
