Noob question. How many pit stops are we likely to make in 80 minutes?

One is the minimum (as even if you could make your tires last 80 minutes, the fuel tank isn't big enough to make it to the end without stopping!)

Two can work, but you really have to be pushing hard for the whole race. I tried it last time but crashed before half way so don't know how effective it would have been! Although some people have made it work.

And with the changeable weather for this race who knows? :D

Noob question. How many pit stops are we likely to make in 80 minutes?
I used a 2-stop strategy two weeks ago at GP 200. The reason for this is that I wanted to play it safe for the entire race, and didn't want to be struggling for grip for the last 10 laps. The risk of losing the car was too big for me, so I opted to have an extra set of fresh tyres. If you're a fast driver and if you're prepared to push then a 2 stop strategy might be as effective as a single stop strategy.

In my last race I was gaining on the guys in front of me by 1,5 to 2 seconds a lap during the final 20 minutes. They were on worn tyres so it was easy catching them. Was great fun to be able to do that! :)

If it stays dry, chances are I might stick to a 2-stop strategy again. Mind you, I'm not aiming to finish in the top 10 though. My only goal is to finish the race with as little errors as possible. A one-stop strategy might work out if you're good at handling worn tyres!

This is what I love about Race 07.. there are so many strategies and no-one knows exactly what your opponents are going to do :D
Strategy is partly a matter of trying and hoping for the best. I always do have a vague idea of how it's going to work out. Unless it starts raining, of course.. :p
