i guess ppl are getting tired of STCC, the last events where empty and this one is the emptiest. Maybe if we change format. Make it more like mini a 50-60 min race.. would make racing a bit more interesting with pitstops and all that. :)
Race 75 STCC 2 at race2play and i have to say i'm getting to like more and more long races.

I really dont have luck.

In the first race when I was in a fight for 2nd place, but someone turns in the middle of the track and i hit. I do not know how anyone found in the middle of the track and stand, hmm.
In the second, I was start in 10 place and i have a good race, and great battle for all position and when I got the leader in battle for a 1 place, I was quicker but I make a small mistake and only 2 minutes to end the race, my game crashed..

what a disaster..

BUT I HAVE A LOT OF FUN:))...thanks

Mixed couple of races...

Qualified 5th, was running 3rd for most of the race behind Mikhail. Managed to get ahead of him, then got a whack from behind, guessing he missed his brake point, but he waited for me so all good there :) Had dropped to 4th, was just moving up to third and Reggie span a bit in front of me, went into a massive wall of smoke and tried to use the name-tag (all that I could see) to avoid him, but smashed into him and ruined my car. Managed to limp to the end in 4th.

Second race, got a good start up to 3rd, then up to first by end of 2nd or 3rd lap and led the whole way. Mostly because people kept catching me and going off. Very grateful for that everyone! hehe.

Made sure that there was at least one Hughes win with Jimi not taking part this week!

That was hell of a race, and the first time I actually gave some battle around.

I ended 8th out of 9 survivors on R1, although I was very satisfied, the leaders were nowhere near lapping me.

On R2 I started on pole, terrible feeling seeing something like a dozen cars in the mirror, half of them proven to be faster than you. But I pushed as much as I could, lost p1 on the big turn, regained it on the hairpin! (mind you, that was the first time A Casado has taken the lead ever), then on the almost last corner I was side by side with (don't remember now, purple car), seeing that pushing it further would only end in with both on the grass I lifted... and 3 cars passed me on the spot. Was going to happen eventually. Some other mistake and a car crashing me (but because I lifted to no crash myself into somebody else) let pass a few more cars and I stabilized on 8th. Then I got Ken, who seemed to have made a mistake, and started pushing so I actually opened a nice 5 or so seconds gap. Those few laps I was driving like a madman, to the point that I could keep Marian (the next in front, and winner of R1) almost at a stable gap. I landed a few times sliding sideways on the fast turns.

When I was happily waiting for 3 laps more, Mikhail made a mistake and I had him almost at reach, between the extra risk I was taking to get him and my dog getting a rage attack against who knows what I finally screwed up and Ken passed me. I could keep 7th anyway because mikhail had some big problem (he appeared next time with a +2 laps).

It was fantastic. Congrats to the winner and special thanks to Marian for some training on the weekend. I think it was definitively noticeable.

Wow, it was long ago when I won a race the last time. Thank you Jimi. :) I was really nervous and making mistakes and almost lost it, again. I still have much to learn.

The start of the second race was a bit unfortunate. Cars in front were braking and I got hit from the back, got a suspension problem, went out of track and lost couple of places. Car was really "right happy", but had fun chasing. I touched Bob Vuckovic in Chateau corner when I thought he was slower there and I could make it, but then he turned in the corner and oh, oh. Sorry, but I waited for you to recover. It was quick, though. So, lucky 4th place in the end. Congrats Nik!

Alberto: I don't know what happened exactly, but looked like you turned up completely out of nowehere. And I didn't know if you were in pits, or I lapped you or you were fighting with me for a possition! It was crazy and I set XD for not updating times constantly so I got a mess in the running order. That was a bad move, heh.

No, I just had prepared an attack and didn't expect you to take a defensive line) My fault.

That was amazing event for me, result is not ok (the end of the second race was ruined by shitty stop-and-go) but I had a lot of fight till the end, and found some speed reserves -- so my fastlap in race 2 was better than the qualifying one :)

These cars are very interesting to drive and to fight with, so I hope we'll have another FFord race soon.
