Ok Wife is out of town and daughter will be sleeping................I guess I'll race. he he he

hell man if we just keep these 4 drivrs we will have a "SHootout" event.

Stop mid race and regroup for a "second race" in the first race at the S/F line. invert and go shooting again!

It was a fustrating and fun event for me at the same time. I,ve spent the whole afternoon testing the ''new'' 320d and my mood had deteriorated, i wasn't looking forward to the race. At 02:00am i was so tired and deflated i was contemplating pulling off. Two strong coffes later i got enough energy going to see me through. In mock races with Kane earlier on in a day i knew i had strong pace capable of flat 39's for lap after lap with qually in low 38's or even high 37's. Three quick laps before the qually had inforced my believe as i easly did 38.7 with room for improvements. But the usual superpole jinx resurfaced when it mattered, was very lucky to get 5th as i had a terrible lap. In R.1 i was only going backward, not much to report, mistakes and lack of pace sees me in 8th and on pole for R.2, the only consolidation. I knew R.2 was my to lose it and if i could only repeat my pace from training and don't do any major mistake i have the win in my pocket. Well, it wasn't to be this time, lack of pace and too many mistakes sees me in 3rd at the finish. Very disappointing.
On the bright side i had some clean and fun battles with Jesper, Keith, Rhys, Adam, Abdul and Stefan, top driving guys :).

I don't think i was ever that tired as i was yesterday in my year of racing in the ARC, glad i didn't compromise anyone else's drive. It was a tough, very long and fustrating day for me for a various reasons, my heart and body just weren't there for the event.

WD to all and thx for racing guys :). See you next week on track.
