I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

@Adam Morris has authorised me to make a decision on the current situation of the league, so here it is.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
After watching the lap times of all cars at different tracks, I have concluded that the BoP as set by the game is pretty fair. Some cars perform better at certain tracks than others, but have a disadvantage at other circuits, just like in real life.

So I have decided to lift the ban on cars and reset the choice of cars. Everyone is allowed to test and choose a new car.
Also will everyone be able to switch cars once during this season, but only after 3 race nights, so everyone will have to stay in the same car until after Spa.

Also have I decided not to put a cap on the amount cars of the same brand. This will only gain an advantage to those who choose first and devide the field even more due to uneven performance (which is proven to be untrue though).
If everyone decides to drive in the same car simply because it's the best out there, it will bring the drivers closer together and will provide more action on track.

Everyone must have chosen a car and livery two days before the next race: Tuesday, the 2nd of January.

Anybody have a time down for this track in a GT3? I’ve only ran 3 laps so far and only at a 4:08. I know the cars are different from PC1 but that seems a bit off, plus I don’t have my braking points down yet.
Edit: Low Fuel run is down to a 4:05.9

I may just ease back on the first set of corners if I qualify well in AM; would rather mop up a couple of places and not get punted off on the first lap like last time out at Les Combes...
In this instance there was Video Evidence and This has been addressed with the Offending Driver and he was Penalized. Avoidable Contact can carry with it a Point Penalty (Possible Forfeiture of Position) and Probation. Further instances may result in Suspension from the Next Race or Series as a Whole. ie.
The contact between the #55, and #61 on lap 1 was deemed a racing accident. Typically it is the Overtaking Driver's responsibility to make the pass clean, however both cars came together upon entry to the corner.
