I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

decent race in the end, I didn't really have the best pace so I was lucky to get another p2 here. If Mike and Have didn't run into contact/pressure issues it would have probably been a much more entertaining race and a different result that's for sure. 2 of the only 4 in the pro lobby were effectively out of the running on lap 1 with damage :poop:. From there I just tried to run my own lonely race and keep as big a gap as possible to p3 as I was nowhere near matching Cubitt's great pace up front. As the tires wore down 3/4 in though I was able to keep a somewhat steady gap to p1 at around 25-30 seconds, but was never gonna close it down without a big mistake.
Well done @Cubitt17 and @Scooter fales on the Pro and Am wins!

Your boring
You’re*

On a more serious note, the races would be more exciting if a.) people stayed for the entire race and b.) people actually showed up. Obviously life can get in the way sometimes.

Are there any open spots for the league? I can ask around on GTPlanet and see if some of them are interested. There’s a few that I think would fit in.

Had my first attempt at this track in pCars2 last night and best I could manage in the McLaren was a mid 2:26 using the default setup. Really couldn't push very hard though as I found I was constantly getting invalidated laps. They seemed a bit random though. For instance I would go wide at Blanchimont which invalidated not only that lap but also the next one... really :O_o: Is that a real life rule? Also seemed to pick them up at times for no reason. Very odd!!

Struggled to get the FFB right though which made it difficult to really be confident in the car so if anyone using a TX would care to share their settings it would be appteciated

I did have some fun with it though :)

Peter, Next time I'm on I take a screen shot of my settings. Of course the guy on youtube that I got mine from will suggest you use different settings for each car.
