PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

No idea id its a known patch. 2 laps before when i pitted Cubit had the same thing but his just went away and mine carried on counting down to give P8 back.....

Pretty decent race on my end, not much close wheel to wheel action but it was still interesting for me trying to keep up with Have out front after things calmed down. I started poorly and dropped down to 5th I think at one point on lap 1. Thankfully I avoided contact as a couple cars had spins in the opening laps, allowing me to climb back up the grid and keep my podium chances alive. The Mclaren felt quite good throughout and seemed to like the more wet parts of the track as the rainy weather progressed. I had a few encouraging moments in the hunt for p1, mainly the last sector, but ultimately my inconsistency meant I was never going to catch up to an unstoppable @Marksest112. Well done on a third straight deserved victory mate!

Happy to get p2 at least as that was the goal going into this race.
It really sucks that the game found a new way to f*** people over in this one though, the lobby was actually running smoothly with 9 this time so it starts dishing out penalties for overtaking drivers in the pits while out on track.

what a ridiculous bug, never seen that one before. I didn't get it but it sounded like at least 3 others did, effectively ruining their races. Also a shame that Dalai got hit by the pressure bug AGAIN in what seems to be happening every race for him now.
Looking forward to the next round, hopefully with the patch out by then everybody will have a smoother overall experience.

Yea had fun for about ten laps.then I had to park it on straight while nova completed he's pit stop so I wouldn't get Dq. But on lap 14 when I went to pit it dq me anyways..im not playing this game until they fix it.just another excuse to play iracing or race room for me..

Such a shame that there are so many problems with this game. That patch needs to hurry up but I fear these problems from last night are not part of what it is attempting to fix

and I wouldn't expect another patch out until well into the New Year.

I'm reluctant to do anything with the game at all at this point even though it is sitting on my HDD right now

Yes the patch is out, so the race is not happening tonight. COTA will either be removed, or put in place of another race. There will be a TEST RACE TONIGHT which Adam informs me is Mandatory. (He says penalties will apply to those not turning up without valid reason). Info on this test race will be posted later.

was absolutely gutted I couldn't race. I got booted from the lobby 3 times. I had a good setup and with max fuel laid down 2:06 in practice before lobby opened. Will hopefully be able to get on for next race and no connection issues

Bugs be dammned. AM Race started with HRH 5 Racing having connection issues. Once Quali started, we were unable to invite him. Chunt 04 arrived during Pre-Race. Once again, no option to invite. Race started with the usual 1st lap shenanigans, I was told to give back a position, as we all skated through turn 1. Fell back to 4th, and settled in for a long, wet one. Wanngang sped off to a quick lead, only to pull over and disconnect. Odd. RictalSplash60 stopped early for fuel, and incurred a drive through penalty. Had some good battles with swamprat1993 and xX Taco Lover Xx, was fortunate enough to keep it between the lines, and ended up in P1 at the halfway mark. Pitted with less than 5 minutes to go, and held on for the win! Too bad this season will have a big asterisk. Again, BUGS BE DAMMNED!
