I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

We said it' live weather??? We have to keep an eye on this??? It's what would happen in real life?
The forecast hasn’t changed all week except on one random weather site that you can’t even look up tracks on. On top of that this isn’t real life is it, we don’t have an archive of data to falll back on for different weather conditions. Who do you think has the time to practice for 6 hours in one day to prepare for a wet race when all of the practice in the week leading up has been on a dry track? It’s much more simple to just lock in the weather 2 days ahead of time. Then you don’t have these stupid ass situations.

@Adam Morris @Frank Finch @Ben McCluskey Is there only one weather slot which will be rain?

Your driving the wrong car for them to care I’m afraid mate. As long as they practice their not intrested in the rest simple as that and has always been the way. Not intrested in a response from any league organiser or any one with a bull :poop: league responsibility as you will just talk nonsense

Me and Adam will discuss this asap.

So teams have data right of the mark or collect it? Also we have had this from day. Prove that ur weather says dry at the time of race( it might help decisions). In pCars 1 we only knew when we went into session but we now have about a days notice and you kick a fuss up??? I don' see your point.

P.s. I'm not taking sides it' just what was stated at the begging and we all knew?

So your ok with one day notice? What about those people who can’t practice today? They are screwed beyond belief right now. I wish them the best of luck tomorrow.

In pCars 1 we had the Dry >> Dry >> Random system... and since that game was so effed... lol.. every random race was wet... so we knew to practice wet when it was going to be set to random

So mid season with everything else we wanna change the weather??? Like I said I'm not here to argue. Also before the race we have a practice session with correct setting. Tonight was a test for seeing if the session was drivable? (1ST WET RACE). Well all have practice tomorrow b4 race and that' it really.

that random website just happens to be the official site for us to use, which was announced before the season began. we've also been using life weather since the start of the session, never had an issue with it before now.
and yes it will be one weather slot.

and to Ben. I get given information from Adam about weather and make sure every driver receives that as soon as I find out the official stuff. Before that we use the weather of the predicted weather. I don't personally favour the McLaren folk. I just host the sessions because I'm the host and as you know every host makes a difference to session, regardless of weather and time etc. I also invite everyone to the session, if people turn Up, they turn Up, if not, then they don't. no advantage. We also had that thing on Tuesday, but appears no one is interested in it.

If you have suggestions to improve the league, message Adam or Frank. not make a rant about it, never works m8.

What would you all prefer? The current weather system or one like we used last season?
What was last season just dry and random? Live weather is fine, but changing it to something dramatically different the day before the race is not fine. I’m honestly mind blown people are ok with this.

@Ben McCluskey Obviously there hasn’t been a problem yet because the weather hasn’t been changed at the last minute until now.

The weather unexpectedly changed today. I personally didn't expect it. however we all agreed at the start of the season to use the method of live weather and that the conditions would be confirmed an hour before the race.
however this week Adam decided to announce it today because of the change, to give people warning. Adam decided to use the live weather for scenarios like this, to add unpredictability. the vast majority of the league liked the idea.

We had designated wet n dry races with a few random .
I’d be happy with scheduled wet races and some wet to dry races as well. I really don’t mind the rain my big issue is the last minute changing of things. Such as the track limit penalties and now this. I understand what LIVE weather means. Is that really what is the most fun and the best for the league though?

well no one disagreed to it....
it was mentioned during s5 and preseason for this season, even trailed. maybe you didn't hear about it, but it was publicly broadcasted on multiple occasions.

Adam and Frank from what I've been told have discussed it tonight, and stuff will be posted tomorrow. You just better win then if it's dry, which is looking like it.

What does me winning in the dry have to do with anything?
