I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Well tonight was my first proper test session. Wow! Its proper weird. I can not keep the tyres cool enough. No matter of starting pressures the temps keep spiking. Can do a 2.08 first lap and the pace drops 2 seconds a lap from then until i find myself burried in a wall. I can see myself not deciding on a setup right up until the green flag

Car feels good around here. A bit understeery but I guess that’s a good thing in the wet. Is anyone else finding that the track is wet around Abbey/ Luffield/ Copse but nearly dry down Hangar straight?
just did my first practice laps and I got the same sort of conditions. I started off with a pretty good feeling car running around 2:07's but after a bit of time sat in the pit box I went back out and brooklands/ luffield corners became extremely slippery (with a couple small aquaplane puddles forming) after prolonged light rain fall, while other places like maggots and becketts still seemed much more dry. I think the live track feature thingy is pooling more water in these places so the grip levels are changing in different parts of the track as time goes by throughout the race. After a while of rain it really seems to affect the pace you can get out of the car over a lap, but it is quite realistic I suppose.

This is going to be a weird race, not sure what to expect apart from i will probably rage quit. haha :p
Just let me know what is your final lap completed.

I too was having Tire temp issues on the LF, after a few laps the car doesn't like to turn right which is a problem on CW tracks. I can hit 2.08 but the car falls off quickly. I suppose I just need to work on long term pace. Unfortunately I won't be able to run a full race until tonight. It probably doesn't help that I'm not very fond of this track to begin with.

Yeah im not a fan in the wet. Also im having FL tyre problems leading to no turning right lol. at least im not the only one :D

Edit: I’m going to rephrase what I said.

Changing the weather one day before the race makes zero sense to me. The forecast has also been the same all week saying rain in the morning not the afternoon. You guys all know people will show up expecting a dry race because they didn’t practice today, since it was a dry race all week, and it will be carnage tomorrow.
