PC2 Project Cars 2 Leagues (merged)

I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

Nice..im prob going to get the rally rim only.the main reason being its 33cm compared to the 28 ive got now withe leather wrap t28.that Ferrari rim has a shift light on though bit its not on sale yet.is the base different with the new one Michael?

Yes it appears to be upgraded to handle the larger diameter wheels. The Sparco is 1:1
The TX rim is actually a scaled down version of the real wheel.

Because you can sell the TX and buy the other one that works for Xbox (X1X) and PC

I'm glad to see the league back up. I just bought the game just waiting for it to install I'm gonna try to get Wednesdays off until season end I seen mike already has me in the AM I'll let you know what car once I test it out.

Rebel or Spiff, who ever is hosting AM can use the image I posted to get the gamer invites for the lobby. So far haven't needed that yet..
I'll go over lobby settings and just need a screen shot of Qually and Race. Remember Pole Position gets 1 Bonus Point, and Fastest lap of the Race gets 1 point too.

Better to ask for forgiveness then permission. I am on the fence. I will probably get the TS-XW Sparco P310, but I am in a holding pattern right now. I was also looking at the CSL elite for the PS4 and then get the Xbox hub or the Xbox P2 elite wheel that way I only have to change rims instead of the whole base. I would race more on PS4 if it wasn't for that issue. Plus the CSL elite PS4 base internals are the same internals from the Clubsport V2.5. The programing is slightly different. It would allow to get the V3 club sport pedals which are far superior to anything that Thrustmaster offers. Right now though there is no reason to do anything. Maybe next year. There also seems to be an issue with the CSL Elite and Pcars 2. Go figure.

Just to give everyone a heads up in the Am group, I'll be running the lobby when we finally start this season. My tag name is SpiffPF2. If you haven't already please send me a friend request so I can add you to my list of people that I need to invite. I will send the lobby invite and will set up the chat party for the race. If need be we may change the chat party to someone else so as not to hog up bandwith for the lobby. I upgraded my internet service to 1 gig download and I am getting about 40 upload with a 32 ms ping using speed test from Chicago. We will switch the chat room if I have a problem.

There will be 2 races in December (due to work) that I will not be able to make. 12/6 and 12/20. Someone will have to run the lobby for those races. I may not make 12/13 as well due to my wife having surgery on the 12th. I will let you know on the forum Wednesday the 13th early enough for someone to pick up the hosting.

Any further races that I may miss (due to work) in January will be posted at a later date.

Rebel whitey will host the chat party if I have an issue with hosting the race lobby and chat party. He also be the race host for the events that I can not make or if there is an issue with my internet.

Your Upload speed and ping is apparently what is most important. A 40mbs and 32 ping should handle everything and allow you to broadcast as well.
As me and Rebel witnessed in our DSRL Race you really need at least 3.00mbs upload to have a decent connection
