I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Lobby ran well with I think 7 or 8 people. I forgot. We ended up with 5 by the end of the race. A lot of lag though from people bouncing in and out due to someone forgetting to make it a private lobby but to my surprise no one was disconnected from the lobby.. Pit strategy bug showed its ugly head when someone pitted (I think it was Tom) got tyres and came out on the track with tyres inflated to 40 psi. He went in 2 more time just to have the tyres inflated even more. After everything settled there was 5 left. The highlight was someone who bounced into the lobby voted to kick Micheal out and watching Toast shoot across the front of my car at a very hi rate of speed going into the 1st turn for the infield portion of the track. Also racing with Toast and Nova was a blast towards the end of the race as well as being a speed bump for Michael with 3 minutes left. Overall it wasn't to bad. I had fun.

That pit strategy bug sounds a nightmare. Does it hit often and has anything been identified as a possible trigger and workaround found?

They've never been able to resolve that problem of lag from people joining or leaving lobbies.. been with us in some form or other since the game first came out.

I got hit with a couple tyre over inflation issue's in a different race. I haven't changed tyres since the last time I had the issue when I have pitted, but my guess would be yes it does hit often. The lag issue was really no big deal just have to remember to set the lobby to private. Some interesting gamertags came up though so it was entertaining.

No work around that I have found other than to not change tires. I ran soft tires last night for the hour long race and had about 35% to 40% left on my tires. I would imagine that it will very between tracks though so hopefully they fix the pit strategy issue as well as every other issue this game has. In my opinion the game should not have been released this early, but then again it wouldn't be Project Cars if it didn't have major issue's out of the gate.

I haven't had the overinflated issue. Of course I've only changed tires in a race once. We have two Brits Cubitt and Cooper who are fast and will likely challenge Tom and Have for the title this year. It will be interesting to see.
@2pfspiff has that pit issue been reported?
I didn't change tires last night as I was only at 48%,46%,48%, 49% and the track was cold. I'm going to test those working pressure theory today at Daytona though.

Unfortunately i will miss rounds because i work shifts so championship is out the window for me, but hope to challenge race wins when im racing and you never know!

Hello fellow shift worker. I will be missing 2 races in december due to working nights. It's great to race for points, but in the end it is more about good clean fun racing. Plus if you kick our butts you can brag that if it wasn't for work the championship would be yours.

I will say this my tires on the right were a steady 30 to 31 PSi and the lefts were hovering around 28 to 29 psi. The 911 was rock solid unlike the night before when i tested with Nova, Toast and I think Mcnasty. My car was dancing all over the place. The tune I had last night was literally a 20 min set up before I joined the party and it was completely from scratch. That was the best that the 911 has ever felt to me. She was planted with good turn in. If I was able to prep for another hour before, I could have made a better run I think. The car was very consistent in the High 1:17 to mid 1:18 for the entire race. The last spin in front of you was me messing up the last infield corner not the car's fault.

My car was good, for the most part, but you can really over drive those infield corners there, so getting a consistent braking point with no brake markers makes for a bit of challenge but the only trouble I had was the little switch back in the infield and the car began to tank slap spinning me on the straight-away.

I spun twice there because I was a little to far on the right hander in the switch back.. But I was really over on the right side when I spun both times. Otherwise the 911 took the switch back beautifully. The biggest issue I had was the lack of speed on the tri oval section. The 911 stopped pulling once I swung into 6th gear. My rear wing was at 6 so there is room to play with it on long tracks. Like I said I only had 20 minutes to set the car up before I joined the lobby. I did like the qualifying then race format better. Just have to make sure that the tune is ready if that is the way we decide to proceed in the future.
