I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Wow last time I looked we had like 11 people. Good to see this league is getting good exposure
Well we usually end up with 24 or so Drivers through out the year but our biggest race has only been 14 in the beginning of season 2 LeMans I believe too had 14. I consider 12 Legit. 8 is minimum to be official. If everyone shows up we could have two 10 man lobbies 2 Champions by the end of the season!

@Adam Morris The weather at Suzuka has changed from heavy cloud to light cloud and now it’s medium cloud with light rain. It would be very helpful if the weather was locked in Monday or Tuesday before a race. Most people can’t practice every day for every possible weather condition.

I understand where your coming from Oz, but if you where racing in a Real Life GT3 class and you turned up at Spa they don't lock the weather days before to stop it raining lol they react and adapt to the weather as it comes. adding un-predictability to all races as you would in real life, i also understand that you cant test that weather until a hour before but its the same for every other driver here so no one gets a advantage and everyone is in the same boat.

Race Details

  • Race Times: 3pm & 4pm
  • Laps: 24 & 12
  • Predicted Weather: Dry with clouds
  • Hotspots: Spoon & 130r (8 extends in the feature is the limit, 4 in the sprint)

The Track

Sakitto has been a main stay in TNGTC, appearing on the calendar every season, being TNGTC's first ever race in S1. Andrew won that day, to become the first winner in this league. Season 2 saw Liam take pole and the win, he went one better in Season 3, taking the grand slam fighting off his team mate for the win. Season 4 was a role reversal, with Gaz winning, after jumping Liam into T1, With the 2 nose to tail all race, but Gaz managed to hold on. Season 5 saw the tyre melting track push drivers and tyres to the limits, with many drivers falling by the wayside due to technical issues, Adam won that day, just hundredths ahead of Liam.

Formation Lap Info

Pictures may follow if i get given any.

Drivers will line up TWO BY TWO (as one of you messed that up) before 130r, and the LEADER (also something one of you got wrong) will choose when to accelarate anywhere from the pit entry to the start line.

Questions

New season, new faces, so a question from me. What would you like to see added or taken out of the threads? (yes i know alot of you dont like track history but Adam made me)

The sprint race was a destruction derby, and the rolling start was designed to reduce crashes in the first few corners, do you think it worked?

Will McLaren be competitive with a Renault engine?

Get the key information across, which you have this week
Other than that, try to get it out during the weekend

I prefer standing stands, makes life easier

As good as Red Bull.

Just a little side note, shouldn't the race be 23 and 12 laps like Algarve, or has the length of the race been extended from 40 minutes to 45 or 50?
