I know we are all excited for this release. What I don't know is how many people intend to a) play it on the xbox one and b) would like to join some sort of a formal league here at Race Department.

There are so many possibilities, I've had to calm myself down from getting lost in them. However, my main passion, IndyCar, will probably not be able to be run until the DLC with the ovals comes to the Xbox One.

That said, what sort of series would you like to see? Personally, ones that come to mind are Tudor United Sports Car Series, WEC, British Touring Car, and DTM. One of these could fill the gap for me until IndyCar is possible, but others may have better ideas.

Please indicate below if you are interested and what sort of times you are available and which series' you prefer. We could follow the actual schedule of many a series, due to the timing of the release. Personally, if they get the ovals out before IndyCar starts, I'll probably turn my focus there, but nothing would prevent running another alongside.

The anticipation is killing me!

Although I've still not picked the game up yet I've never driven those GTO cars so my initial view is that I would go for that and have voted as such. Might change my mind once I do eventually get the game and try them all out though.

If you think of a NASCAR style tube frame 1990s muscle cars that are designed to run on road courses, except add some exotic manufacturers, then you have GTO. I'm not sure the group in PC2 is faithful to the brands that actually ran together (for instance, I watched Tommy Kendall race that very Ford umteen times at Road Atlanta, but other cars didn't include the Ferrari, but generally American makes. Some German though, I think.

GT1 rarely gets any attention for some reason. I think because road racing/sports car racing was not really popular until they were replaced with the GT3 craze and then LM GTE. But the GT1 cars are a handful, for sure. They have massive torque.

I will be appealing the 5 point penalty, as most of the off track excursions we mostly out of control at well below sub par race speeds. I will have to get a video together today, this is to signify my intention to contest the 5 points and 10 second penalty.

I guess ANY off track counts then, sideways, backwards, upside down etc. It doesn't look like car behaviour was taken into account when looking at off track limits? This is why I am appealing.

Don't worry about the appeal, I only had 3 or 4 when I had a tank slapper or was at seriously reduced pace, I can't see that making a difference, plus I don't have time to put in a video. Car was pretty crap in those two hot spots particularly, I went off more than I thought I did.

I did notice however, whilst checking mine, that a few people, whilst within the margins of investigation, generally had more off track excursions at hot spots than shown in the video. I am not sure why that would be, they must have been missed for whatever reason.

As a note to Stewards, the last corner onto the straight on the left hand side should be added too, as loads of people went off track at that point, where they should have lifted to make the corner. The gains (or lack of losses) are the same as the other corners, if not more, as you are going onto a massive straight. Certainly should be added for the next season, if this track is on the calendar.

No, the Wednesday after that is December 6 at Silverstone.

Just a thought, but we could move everything forward and do the test and tune next week with Daytona the week after? That would leave us with a break in between Watkins glen and Silverstone.

@Adam Morris The weather at Suzuka has changed from heavy cloud to light cloud and now it’s medium cloud with light rain. It would be very helpful if the weather was locked in Monday or Tuesday before a race. Most people can’t practice every day for every possible weather condition.

We could potentially split the series into two lobbies right now.. 9 and 9 with a few more commitments to AM. It would be a tight battle in AM, not so much in Pro with top 4 drivers being really fast, I'll be fighting for midpack. When numbers are low we can group it into a single lobby, hoping one day we can fit 16 in. I honestly don't think we'll have a full field every race. Especially the wet ones.
