Because time has been an issue this week, this video might be considered a quick and dirty capture of one of the alpha test sessions.
Its still very early as far as development of the Nissan IMSA GTS is going, but we know some of you like a preview now and then. so here it goes... There is still a huge amount of work needed before we could call this beta, but we are making progress.

IMSA Nissan looks pretty cool, so maybe you will do step more, and put to the mod Trans-Am Audi 200 Quattro - I think its famous racing car, a really wolf in sheep's clothing

The most notable difference is probably the new marshal huts. Thanks to Zephyr RU I had some incredible photos to build them from, as opposed to the guesswork of the old huts, which were still unchanged from 2007. Here's a comparison of the old and new huts.
I also added some smaller stuff like fake skid marks in some corners, the pit in car announcement sensor, two new starter huts on the pitwall and white lines in a separate layer with some variety.

As for performance, there is an issue with rF2 which causes increased VRAM usage due to the environment mappers even when environment reflections are turned off. For 1.02 I have worked around this issue, which means the environment reflections are not as location-specific as before. They're still plenty good though, so you should still be able to enjoy them if you have the machinery to turn them on. It's a bit of a tough situation as currently we have to build the track as if everyone were using the environment reflections as far as VRAM usage goes, which kind of defeats the point of having a separate option for it.

If you experience performance that is significantly worse than on other track, particularly our other tracks Mid-Ohio and Sebring, let me know.

Looks nice. But looks to me like a straight conversion from the rF1 track.
Hope thats going to change in the future. :)
I think thats indeed the case Ivo.

I also hope that there will be more scratch builds coming soon. But for now, I will settle for conversions as well :) As long as they do not do a 1 on 1 conversion. In this case, he says he changed things like the curbs, and added the marshals. Also, the rain surface is new. Last he mentioned he updated the track polys so the RealTrack options works better. So it's not a straight 1 on 1 this one. Just using the basis.
