Best advice I can give is to stay on the gas, I tend to blip the throttle while braking and in off throttle conditions. Once I get it pointed in the right direction I nail it. Keep in mind that this is coming from someone who wrecks alot, lol.

PB fell to a 1.10.475 tonight, which is good. Optimal fell a rather staggering amount to a 1.09.484 (approx). Just need to figure out what I'm doing right in one sector and wrong in another.

Hi Mark,

Licensed members can race in any RD club event. And to participate in this Club Event you'll need to purchase Road Atlanta. Hope to see you on track soon.

Welcome to the iR club! Your license covers all RD clubs so you are good there. This is not a 'stock' track, so you will need to purchase it if you haven't already.

I was hoping to have my power back for this one guys. Sadly I do not. They keep turning it on for half an hour and then turning it off again. Anyway, it is too unpredictable for me tonight. That damn storm really messed up CT.

Was about to ask you guys if we should open up the server. With only 4 of us signed. I'll go ahead and take down the server I have scheduled and make it an open server.

I tried to take down the server that I had originally scheduled (RD Club Event password) and I'm unable to, as it's says its ready to launch.

Hosted Event Server is RACEDEPARTMENT.COM SRF
Password is the RD Club event password in the first post.

On the main iRacing page you will see the Hosted tab. Select Join a Race and you should see the server Mark.

Good race guys! Glad that you could join us for this club event Mark! Great to see some new guys joining us for US Wednesday Club Events.

Everyone decided on next week's club event.... Vette at Road America. Will post up the race thread later this week.

Hi Will,

What a great drive. You guys are SMOOOOOOTHHHH... Hope I didn't ruffel any feathers, I tried to stay out of the way. Got down to an 11 or 12. I'm happy with that for the first time in the car and on that track.

GEEZ this could get expensive!!!

That was fun when I wasn't in the pits; Road Atlanta does it to me every time. I'm decent through the first half and then completely lose my ability to get around the track without at least cutting a corner. Isn't tire wear; checked that. Think it's just operator wear.

That's why I let Eric E. by when he lapped me. I'd have happily raced you too, man, but I was afraid I'd do something weird and take you off the track with me.

Despite these troubles...I really do love that car/track combo. I'm curious about the MX-5 or the Skippy would feel there.
