Because i don't have Evo installed, i've put everything into RaceOn.
After that i've made a separate class for them called VW_Golf_R32. I've modified it in the .inccar file.
Then i've made menu buttons for this class.
Now they are in there own class.

For sure you will need GTR Evolution. On the one hand it's in the GT Club-class (which you don't have if you don't own RaceOn), and on the other hand the car uses some files shipped with GTR Evolution if i'm not wrong.

Maybe there will be a small fix in the next days with the corrected headphysics and some not so extreme noisy wind sounds... But i guess it makes more sense to wait a few days and see if there are more problems.

Btw.: Thanks for your help Günthar! And the wipers are really awesome :)

edit: I'm not 100% sure with some of the sounds if they come from GTR Evolution or "plain" Race07... So editing the class can work but i'm not sure... Otherwise you just miss a few sounds... But as it was mentioned to drive in the GT-Club class there was no focus set on working without GTR Evolution.

Just a stupid question JJ: do you have GT Power Pack Expansion ??
This one is necessary to run this mod, as mentioned in the Readme.

Then delete this one. It's your choice mate, but if there is a conflict between the mods you are using then there is no other way to make it work. There's nothing to stop you swapping mods in and out of the GameData folder as and when you want to use them, or using SRM to do it automatically.
OK. I have no idea no idea how what i must do in a "track's folder". Browse what folder? No one can explain how works?

JJ, what has the Tracks folder to do with this mod ?? This is no mod for a track but for cars.
I think you placed the files in a wrong folder !

As you see in the download, there are files for Gamedata/Teams, Gamedata/Talents and UIdata/Menu/Textures.
Are the files of the mod extracted or copied in these folders ?

I'm talking about Srm programm. Of course i copied that folders.

Mos is a real blast :) Not to sure on the sounds tho...even with headphones turned down seems a horrid rasping sound from somewhere, giving my ears a ringing, at top speed tho.. lol

JJ.

Try these:

1...Have you got the FVR V8 mod, WTCC11 mod, ADAC mod or Honda Civic cup? These share model ID's with this mod, but from my experience all the model ID does if its clashing is cause online issues in multiplayer, single player still works

2...The Class ID is 119 but I can't find anything that clashes with that, but there maybe a mod out there with the same class ID, this may stop the game working.

3...Like what Jempy asks, have you got the GT Power expansion?

4...Is the game the Offline or Online version? I'm not sure what the difference is, but I guess the offline version has different a folder structure which would cause this mod not to work, I think.

5...The SRM program, run it and just next to where it says "select" theres a + and - click the "+" and select Race 07, for the game name just write anything like "Race" then click "browse" next to where it says tracks folder, once it opens a new box go into the directory for race 07 and select "Race_Steam.exe", click ok then click Validate, then it should list all the mods and tracks in which you can the select or deselect by either placing or removing the tick befored each mod/track, all this does is place the mod away from the race 07 mod directory and when you tick the box it places it back in the mod directory.

Yes, i have some of that mods installed.

My race07 is offline, so i don't have the "Race_steam.exe" on the folder.

How can i delete the mods without that program?

great mod, it's what i'm searching by days: incredible quality!! thanks also to "headphysic fix".. Can you do the same with Golf V GTI? there is already a mod here but only for GTR2.. That's my real car!! :) Ciao Alberto

Then now I understand your problem: this mod requires GT Power Pack and this one may only work with Simbin last patch, available on Steam but not for Race 07 Offline.
Best solution is to install Steam !

Nice mod. :) One minor bug is that the Leon's shift lights do not work correctly. At max revs only the first two lights are lit. The Toledo's are fine though.

Thanks Ross :) Think I'm going to sack my testers!!! I've just got to edit a file and hopefully the lights will work correctly :) Might have to release it as a patch though as you can't delete an upload unless you bug one of the admins
