And you used to send your skins to my french website ;-) It's a long time ago !
I've tested your mod, it's really nice (I drove the Nissan on Oulton Park). I've got just a problem, the car is too low, the bottom of the car disappears in the track and the top of the front wheels pass through the body.

Good old times:D

The ride height will be fixed for the next release.
When I made an update to the suspension file suddenly all the cars except the Volvo where about 10 cm too high when I watched the replay.
I solved this by edit the 'graphical offset' in the .hdc file, and it looked fine in the replay. Must be someting wrong there...

You can fix this problem by editing the .hdc files of the low cars:

GraphicalOffset=(0.00, -0.085, -0.0)

The second number means that the car is 8.5 cm lowered now (was 10 cm in preview version). Try different numbers:)

FVRV8 2010 Aussie V8 Racing Series v2.01

Welcome to the FVRV8 2010 Aussie Racing Series v2.01 by the FVRFactor.com mod team!!

This is the current Race 07/GTR Evo/STCC/RaceOn version of the all new 2010 FVRV8 rFactor mod and uses the same car models as from that mod.

Features added to the GTR Evo release:
- Custom Skin support using the "CustomSkins" folder .ini system
- Animated wipers
- Wet tyres tyre physics models
- Functioning Rain/Dirtscreen

Known issues:
- Non-adjustable Final Rear Diff Ratio. The Aussie V8 Series use fixed gearbox ratios with 4 final diff ratios to choose from. GTR Evo doesn't support this being adjustable, so we have made the gearbox adjustable with all ratios that would be available in via those 4 diffs.
- If you select Heavy Rain, the AI won't get the correct tyres, this is due to Simbin not working corectly with more than 2 tyre compounds.

Only need some races to see if its balanced offcourse, :)
But its great to have it ingame and as FWD. Raced it already in the STC but didnt like it as RWD. :)
Thanks Robin. :)

FIA GT 2008 Mod Championship Files

FIA GT 2008 Championship File

## I. The Basics

The 2008 FIA Grand Touring season consisted of 10 round around the world.

Rnd Race Circuit Date
1 RAC Tourist Trophy Silverstone Circuit April 20
2 Monza Autodromo Nazionale Monza May 18
3 Adria Adria International Raceway June 21
4 Oschersleben Motorsport Arena Oschersleben July 6
5 Total 24 Hours of Spa Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps August 2
6 Bucharest City Bucharest Ring August 23
7 Brno Masaryk Circuit September 14
8 Nogaro Circuit Paul Armagnac October 5
9 Zolder Circuit Zolder October 19
10 San Luis Potrero de los Funes Circuit November 23

The following rules come from official FIA GT brochure:

Sporting regulations
• 2009 will include eight rounds : six two-hour races, plus the Total 24 Hours of Spa, and the Bucharest City Challenge, with two one-hour races
• Each car can be driven by two or three drivers, with up to four at Spa
• Except for Spa, each event includes one 80-minute free-practice session, one 80-minute pre-qualifying session to allow all drivers to qualify for the race and one 15-minute qualifying session for each category, to set the starting grid. The Total 24 Hours of Spa has a separate schedule, including night qualifying.
• For two-hour races, there are two obligatory pit stops with mandatory driver change. Each driver must complete one 35-minute stint.
• Points are allocated to teams and drivers according to the scale 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for the GT1 and GT2 Team and Drivers Championships. If two manufacturers are represented by four cars each, there will additionally be a Manufacturers Cup – this applies to GT2 only in 2009.
• Handicap weights are allocated to the top three finishers in each category. (+20 kg, +15 kg, +10 kg). Cars finishing from 4th downwards lose weight according to a similar
scale. The maximum penalty weight is 100 kg. GT2 drivers have an additional weight based on the career record of the drivers, with two ‘Platinum’ drivers carrying 50 kg, a Platinum and Gold 40 kg and two Gold drivers 30 kg.

As you can see the weight penalties are: +20, +15, +10, 0, -10, -15, -20, -25; rest: -30

It is impossible to implement such detailed weight penalty rules in Simbin games so I tried to make it as close to these as possible. Don't worry, if you don't like my version of weight penalties there is also a version without weight handicap.

## II. The Mod

FIA GT 2008 Mod for GTR Evo v2.0 - Full Install by Pedro Pedrosa a.k.a zand

You can get it from
http://www.racedepartment.com/downl...-2008-mod-for-gtr-evo-v2-0-full-install-2159/

### III. The Tracks and where to get them

1. Silverstone
(from Silverstone Collection : GP + Nat + Int + Sport)
http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=8150

2. Monza
This track is in Race07 and following titles

3. Adria
http://www.artsonika.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=27&func=startdown&id=79

4. Oschersleben
This track is in Race07 and following title

5. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=10696

6. Bucharest -> Gold Coast
Although, there is a Bucharest Ring track available for Race/GTR Evolution but I'm not sure if it is allowed to be published. I found it on Youtube on
and guy who posted his video announced that if you want it you should email him. It worked for me so you can try too. I just didn't get along with this guy in terms of general permissions for converting an publishing this track.

However, if you can't/don't want to get this track, the most similar Street Circuit is Gold Coast Nikon Super GP 2009. It's a little bit longer but its chicanes make it a better candidate than Hitchin Town for example.
http://www.fvrfactor.com/web/index....ds&Itemid=&view=view.download&catid=12&cid=25

That's why I made two versions of Championship File: with and without Bucharet Ring.

7. Brno
This track is in Race07 and following titles

8. Nogaro
http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=24976

9. Zolder

10. Potrero de Los Funes
http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=19556

## IV. The Official Championship File

There are four Official Championship Files so you could choose from two categories "With/Without Bucharest Ring" and "With/Without Weight Penalties". You should use only one at once.

### V. Installation ###

Extract one of *.bch files to ..\Steam\Steamapps\[your profile]\race 07\GameData\Championship\Official\). Run the game and choose FIA 2008 GT championship from main championship menu. Create new profile (Season 1, for example) and continue. Everything should be already set properly but if you see that faded out options are Novice difficulty, change to Pro and set 24 opponents and 120 min race time if you want it like in Real Life.
