Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
Still no luck with the checksum.

Are the tyres for the 126 and AE86 tuned ok? (see fig. 1+2, just drag'n dropped the tyre set)
Or for the AE86 tuned: Is it necessary (and a good idea) to take the 205-tyre for front and rear (see fig. 3)
And Han, please don't stress yourself. Enjoy the weekend. There is enough time to figure it out.

Abarth 500 = mean
Arbarth 124 = +0.70 sec
Clio cup = +2 seconds
R3 Suzuki = -0.5 seconds
AE86 tuned = -1 .6 seconds

That obviously with me driving, the aliens may very well be different, Allan will be driving RWD cars much better than I can, me I do not like RWD.
Hm, I have still + 4s with the Clio Cup V comparing to the MX5 Cup. Last week, I thought my FWD driving skills made the difference. But it is still to much and not getting better.
I think the the Clio Cup V doesn't match up with the MX5 Cup, despite it's +40HP.

There is a Clio Cup IV (Typ X98) from the same modder. It's not on RD (but skins are).
With the Cup IV, I have the same laptimes as with the MX5 Cup (around 2:12 on WGB).
If anyone is interested, look for the Renault Clio Cup X98 1.2 at https://tm-modding.eu/download-category/ac-fun-mods/

I’ll have a look tonight at the Clio.
I think it is another RWD that is on the priority list.
The Mazda is a hard act to follow.

Also got checksum kick in the

This Tyre swap thingy has way to many variables, one missed spacing and you´re screwed.

So for me it´s on to Thruxton and getting screwed by these left hanging Brit´s who never heard of "The Guy with a Ten Foot Pole" ;)

Which is a roadbuilders technique to check a surface for evenness and level.

To all: to avoid all checksum error, I have now changed the Abarth 124 to the default state with only semi-slicks. I've also removed the Toyota as it seems to be way too fast.

So please, return the Abarth 124 to it's original state and try again to join.

Hi all;
Just randomly chiming in here:

I've noticed that the times I've gotten checksum errors it's usually because either the person attempting to access server doesn't have ALL the current versions of the cars downloaded (possibly with accompanying mods), and/or the current version of the track. The same has to be uploaded to Emperor server or else you get mismatch checksum errors. My two cents... Maybe this is some different sort of issue but hope this helps!

Han probably already knows this...
Enjoy your Sunday!

Still a checksum error. I downloaded the files again and did CLEAN installs.

Summary:

Renault Clio RS Cup V

Honda Civic Type R (EP3 Cup)

R3 Suzuki Swift Sport

Renault Clio Cup X98 1.2, download at

Abarth 124 Spider
https://www.****************/car/abarth-124-spider (Replace the ******* with assettoworld dot com)
-> Click "Download" -> "Source (mega.nz)" -> switch to/allow popup and then "Download" on mega.nz
FYI: The second link "Download file (high speed)" leads to Modsfire (same file and checksum, but weird filename)

Ok. I will do the same and to be sure I will also upload them to Emperor.
