I still have to practice as I am receiving a few pieces to mod the brake tomorrow morning, and as I am on vacation I should be able to fit them and practice with, but time will tell. Of course, in Bathurst much more than other tracks, consistency is key, with all those walls it's not difficult to lose 30 secs for a spin due to being very difficult to e.g. reverse the direction if you stop facing the wrong one.I have found some consistency but 60 minutes without a spin or trip the wall is going to be tricky. I am much more comfortable now so should be fine for the race.
Oh, I'm curious... what mod for which pedals? I have a 3dRap for the TLCM's and I'm very happy with it, much better feeling.I still have to practice as I am receiving a few pieces to mod the brake tomorrow morning, and as I am on vacation I should be able to fit them and practice with, but time will tell. I already fit the two bushes few months ago but with the spring you totally lose the progressive feeling as it reaches the end of the stroke quite quickly, despite being the red one. This mod seems more progressive but I'll let you have my impressions in a few days/weeksWell it's kind of similar. I too have the T-LCM!
This is the one I have, I kept just the larger half (and combined it with the red spring) 'coz with the shorter extender made the feeling too "mute". I have more control on the brakes since. Looking forward to hear about your mod and, as Carsten says indeed, recalibration will be necessary.Well it's kind of similar. I too have the T-LCM!
John was tonight on the server too: 1,6s faster than me so indeed you're again that 0,6s quicker!Very unlikely, just spoken to john, and he is a comfortable second quicker.
Was trying high fuel Han, that was .7 slower than my pb, but it's only practice, anyone that keeps it together will get a great result I guess I have Ernie to thank for the setup tips, transformed this roller skate for me, whatever the lap times, it's such a blast to driveJohn was tonight on the server too: 1,6s faster than me so indeed you're again that 0,6s quicker!
Another 0.7s faster????? Ok, you're official an alien from now on!Was trying high fuel Han, that was .7 slower than my pb, but it's only practice, anyone that keeps it together will get a great result I guess I have Ernie to thank for the setup tips, transformed this roller skate for me, whatever the lap times, it's such a blast to drive
Have enjoyed the practice but can't do the race, hope you all have fun!
Would appreciate a replay if anyone records it
Nah, aliens will be 1 to 1.5 faster I reckon, and it wasn't with full fuel, about 6 laps from memory.Another 0.7s faster????? Ok, you're official an alien from now on!
If Enzo beats your PB I'm going to kill myself!
Was that the Porsche Singer Ernie? With quiet cars like that I sometimes put some Lynyrd Skynyrd or other rock on, seems to fit the era/vibesI think of John as an alien, still have never forgiven him, on one of fat Alfie’s circuit. I was going flat out, struggling and not even catching him, only to find out that he was merrily driving and listening to some bleeding pop music.
25...24 racers, going to be a proper challenge....
