Assetto Corsa Racing Club event
I have found some consistency but 60 minutes without a spin or trip the wall is going to be tricky. I am much more comfortable now so should be fine for the race.
I still have to practice as I am receiving a few pieces to mod the brake tomorrow morning, and as I am on vacation I should be able to fit them and practice with, but time will tell. Of course, in Bathurst much more than other tracks, consistency is key, with all those walls it's not difficult to lose 30 secs for a spin due to being very difficult to e.g. reverse the direction if you stop facing the wrong one.

Oh, I'm curious... what mod for which pedals? I have a 3dRap for the TLCM's and I'm very happy with it, much better feeling.

I'd suggest to change your setup after the race.

That's what I did when changing to another rig and it was a good idea because I had a little misshap and had to replace a cable.

Even if everything goes smoothly for you you'll still need to build up new muscle memory on the brake.

For me that takes several hours, so I'd wait till after the race.

Well it's kind of similar. I too have the T-LCM!
This is the one I have, I kept just the larger half (and combined it with the red spring) 'coz with the shorter extender made the feeling too "mute". I have more control on the brakes since. Looking forward to hear about your mod and, as Carsten says indeed, recalibration will be necessary.

John was tonight on the server too: 1,6s faster than me :notworthy: :( so indeed you're again that 0,6s quicker:mad:!
Was trying high fuel Han, that was .7 slower than my pb, but it's only practice, anyone that keeps it together will get a great result I guess  I have Ernie to thank for the setup tips, transformed this roller skate for me, whatever the lap times, it's such a blast to drive :D

Have enjoyed the practice but can't do the race, hope you all have fun!

Would appreciate a replay if anyone records it :)

Another 0.7s faster????? Ok, you're official an alien from now on!
If Enzo beats your PB I'm going to kill myself:ninja:!

I think of John as an alien, still have never forgiven him, on one of fat Alfie’s circuit. I was going flat out, struggling and not even catching him, only to find out that he was merrily driving and listening to some bleeding pop music.:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
Was that the Porsche Singer Ernie? With quiet cars like that I sometimes put some Lynyrd Skynyrd or other rock on, seems to fit the era/vibes:inlove:

......And it's not pop music, for the more discerning of us out there:p:roflmao::p

Edit: For what it's worth, aliens, Chris, Fulvio, Enzo etcetala, can drive at quali pace for the whole race, wish I could do that :(

I already put it in red letters in the 1st post but if we have the red lights out problem again, don't do anything. Just wait until I have restarted the server. It's a memory problem that occurs with large grids. It is solved with a restart but it can give troubles if people leave the server and trying to get back again.

I´ve given it my best shot, but this version of Bathurst doesn´t agree with my one bit. ( it´s always the mule, never the rider ;))

So to save me ( and some of you) from unnecessary grief I´ll let you race in peace.

Just to be clear, on the other (ACC converted version) I´m 2,5sec faster and way more confident without walltaps. ( into the "dirty trees")

So have fun tonight, see you maybe/probably next week.

Carsten
