Tracks Mosport 2021 (CTMP) [Deleted]

Insane quality track probably my number 1 track in AC right now its way up there with Kunos quality tracks,
the surface and layout is just sublime, and not sure why someone said the surface is not bumpy,
with 3 amps and 6x buttkickers LFE and a Jetseat its bumpy alright feels lovely,

I am not complaining here at all, I just wish the grass looked slightly not as green and aged somewhat just feels too bright and too much with 0 variation on the grass, I hope it gets updated would be out of this world.:)

Agreed, though. Just a sublime track. I love this place.. I miss it so much. First year since 1999 I haven't made it to at least one major weekend at Mosport. Moving to the west coast has its drawbacks :cry:
 
SRS is probably still using the old version before 1.0. as since the folder name change it will show as a missing track.
Thx 4 the replay, but on there AC mod list they use the 1.0 version and it showed up in the AC SRS race menu so i installed that but it did not work, as you wrote they probably use the old version.

Magnificent track, so beautifully recreated - every bump, every apex, it's so challenging as well. (As IRL.)

RSR doesn't recognize driver though, and it's this track only. It might be me, but do you have an idea what it might be, if it's the track after all? (Another user had the same issue on page 5 here.)

Did you download the 1.0 track? Not the beta, correct?

Correct. Followed the installation guide to the last letter. (Manual install, no Content Manager, removed old files from the extensions folder.)

PERFECTION! That's all I can say. The new AI take this already wonderful track to an even higher level. I ran a full IMSA grid of cars, and they produced excellent, real world lap times equalling this years race. And for the first time, I never experienced pile ups at Moss Corner.

AI set at 100%.

I gave you 5 stars before. Can I give you 6 now ?

Against my own wishes, I ended up doing more work on it lately, a couple of remodeled objects, more night lighting and what not... and DRS for the whiners ( :p j/k) So I'll be packing up another build in the near future :thumbsup:

I don't suppose there's any chance you whipped up a beat-up old purple Neon with peeling clear coat and placed it at the top of the infield hill at the exit of turn 2, is there? :p

Someone said he was going to attempt modeling that car himself... :roflmao:

I can just grab one of the sh*t box scenery cars and paint purple?

I know, I still want to do it but life has a habit of getting in the way :(

What polycount should I target for it? Maybe I'll shove off some responsibilities and tackle the crapbox this weekend :D
 
Hi Guys, I just recently downloaded this track and it seems to not work. It seems as if every time I try to start a track session my screen goes black and then exits back to the main menu. I installed it through the content manager and I tried it manually.

If you browse to the tracks folder, is jr_mosport there?
 
Thanks for the response, jr_mosport is there, however when ever I press start it starts to load the track and then sends me back to the main menu.
You most likely didnt install the "system" folder then, which contains a new shader the track needs.

As shown in the first page, copy the system folder from the downloaded archive and paste it in the main assettocorsa folder
 
Really happy with this track and it's up there with the best I've downloaded so thank you.

One question: Is it possible/difficult to space out the starting grid a little more? It's pretty much the only thing I don't like about this track, that being that the AI in AC just don't seem capable launching when they're so close to one another, which means if you don't start near the front then you'll be miles behind the first few cars after only a lap. I'm not sure on the mechanics but if it's a simple thing to implement, an alternate layout with a more spaced out grid (even at the cost of the number of pitboxes) would be a great addition if an update is planned.

Either way, thanks for the track and I'll be enjoying many a trackday here regardless.
