I voted No.

iRacing seems to have a very good subscriber based community as it is. Those that wish to pay for their racing have an abundance of opportunities to race there. I'd rather the Server time/space was allocated to those sims (past/present/future) that don't offer that level of support.

If iRacing would like to Donate some of their subscribers fees to help run the RD servers, then I would've voted Yes.

iRacing hosted racing is on their servers. You create it for $3 and password it then we have everyone here join and race. It doesn't run on our servers.

I just purchased the Dallara yesterday and a few tracks so now I have all of the road cars and all of the road tracks, I'm still missing a couple of the rovals run in the road schedules(Daytona and NHMS) but I've got all the other road tracks.

I would definitley be interested in some RD iRacing events. I voted for road because I don't own much oval content, But I would definitley be interested in some oval events I'm sure, I just never got past the legends because I was spending my iracing money on road content.

If I would want to race with you guys in iRacing (pure theory, I am not a subscriber, just curious), could we meet on any of the available servers or is this beyond control of each user which server you join?

Practice you can and same with the races to a certain extent - if the races get split then you could end up in different splits depending on your iRating. If they don't get split then yes you can all race together. Hosted racing would allow us to always race together with some different combo's to the official series.

I really dont like the idea of leagues on iRacing, because I prefer their system. BUT I think if RD feels like an oportunity and if its staff would like to, I think you should go both, since both road and oval are TONS OF FUN!

One event here and there, I'd go for it, but not league...

I was talking normal racing club events, not leagues.
So far 90% votes yes, but only 10 people voted.

Let me hear those voices :) Of course only current iRacing members or people considering it need to vote.
We can't use votes of non-iRacing drivers.
