That's pretty much what myself, Simon, Theo, James, and Ricky do all the time anyway, Gareth :)

Incidentally, James' quote about the speccy springs to mind from our first session at Summit:
"Yeah, so what happens here is you hit a bump and then it KILLS YOU".

Friends lists has an influence, but no where near iRating for example.

We better all try and get the same iRating then :p

Seems you still get the odd idiot... just followed someone who was a lap down and about 6 seconds a lap slower - wouldn't let me past, he then spun and half corrected it and as i went around him he managed to slightly scrape my car which resulted in a x4 incident for no damage to either car.

I am already cured again

Posted this before but when do they finally stop bugging me by email :( I have ended my subscription back in february and then continuesly received messages from iracing that they want me back.

I have unsubscribed from that mail (good that the option was there) and then i received the same stuff again. Mailed the sender of the mail to be removed and surprise surprise now this drops in my mail:

When will they stop bugging me? I hate those agressive marketing mails, i have unsubscribed i have emailed and yet they still continue..

What can i do about this?

If i want to renew my subscription then its my own choice to do so, not because they keep spamming me all the time

Unsubscribing once should do the trick imo

heh every agressive comercial buisness :) ,btw i 'm about to be addicted to iRacing and i relly think now that with the basic pack,19 euros per month is not too much for that great sim,but i'm very new to it maybe in some month i'll have a different view of it .

It can be cheaper than that, if you were to pay for 1 year and then use the $60 credit towards the subscription then it would cost about $8 a month. That said, you would probably want to use the credit for cars and tracks as once you get past the Solstice you will need to buy some cars and tracks.

well in the basic pack you got the poooor solstice, the legend cars who are very fuen and the ssca ford ,who's very...strange?,i have also the sr8 from a promo code ,and it's really the best i've try for the moment, but all have great physics, just the solstice is not enough powerful to be a race car :D i'm still sleepin' behind my wheel when i drive it,but of course like you said,if i'm really interrested,i'm not gonna pay 19/month if i can pay 8/ month :)

Yeah except you have to do that whole payment all at once :wink2:

A year subscription is $156 US

I fell like i am missing out on something when i read this thread. But it's just the price ouch
well, clealry it's great, what i don't like is that every little thing you want to have like a car or a track or ...you pay! and 15$ for a car or 20$ for a track is too expensive when you already pay every month to play the basic pack,but...sim racing is about to become a big buisness and they've take the opportunity.

I used the Radical promo code, the game is very good (Car and tracks graphics :good:)
I liked the whole points thing apart from when there was a rubbish driver who would hit you and then you would loose points. But as you said Sebastien having to pay for extra cars and track :(
If you could buy the whole game (like evo) then i would definelty buy it
